Holiday Season activities are special for many reasons. They are filled with memories, traditions and an incredible amount of emotional energy. Because this celebration spirit comes from your childhood, your aspirations, your meticulously collected and stored for special occasions the activities and even emotional resonances.
Interestingly, such a heightened and elevated rise in human emotions can be observed, hence felt, en mass. And that’s what really is so special about our Holiday Season celebrations.
I decided to bring in the collection of the books for your attention that could be not just inspiring. In fact, each and every book could become your coffee table book for a year-round enjoyment. Besides, a book makes a powerful gift. When you make such a gift, you extend your elevated self during the seasonal time into that person’s space for the next year as the minimum.
Energy travels. When preparing a gift, think good thoughts, kind thoughts that charge your thoughtful present for the receiving party on the other end. In time, practicing thoughtful gift giving can become your mantra for any day of the year you live in the moment. Because in those quiet specs of time, you are truly entertaining and are one with the angels.

Entertaining Angels Book
Putting this book by Anne Neilson at the top of the list is a no wonder. This book has a very unusual dedication, as it is dedicated to YOU. Yes, you! Any person holding “Entertaining Angels” feels welcome and invited into a special realm, the realm of her divineness.
When I say that this book makes a wonder-filled gift, you will know instantaneously from the first pages. Anne Neilson made a series of angels paintings that were transformed into the beautiful illustrations of the book. The illustrations so vivid, so 3-dimensional that you would want to touch each angel, streaming their unique messaging straight at you.
The book is a collection of stories by the author herself and the people you may very well know from TV, radio, sports and entertainment industry. The amazing women like Kathie Lee Gifford, Gigi Harris, Sheila Walsh, Teresa Heck, Anne Cochran and many others.

Feed Your Skin Right
My regular skin care routine includes more than lotions and potions aka skin topicals. I regularly read up on the clinical studies about foods, supplements, and skin care ingredients. It really helps me to understand more about the skin care overall and make more educated choices.
One of the latest books on skin care you can read easily and understand is Feed Your Skin Right by Mark J. Tager, MD. Here are some of my favorite highlights from the book that you, too, can benefit from.
Sugar and its effects on your skin aging. You will learn about Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs) and how they speed up your skin’s deterioration.
Your gut flora affects your brain and skin. Yes, this is a potent circuit that cannot be ignored if you really plan to remain healthy and with the beautiful skin. Your skin can tell a story of your gut, so to say.
You will enjoy discovering and get excited about different types of botanicals, too! This section of the book will take you through a quick, but necessary journey of some key nutrients used in functional foods, supplements and skin care. And you need to understand them to take at the best self-care of your skin!
Here are just a few of them: Collagen Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, Essential Fatty Acids (including Omega-3 DHA), Lutein and Zeaxanthin (L/Z), Mushrooms, Nitric Oxide, Ceramides, Glutathione, Nicotinomide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+), and many others.
In summary, you are for a great treat and pleasurable reading while learning and discovering about your own skin health and what it takes to keep it young and vibrant.

Glutathione Revolution Book
Consistency in something we want to see and experience the results in is the key. When you dedicate yourself to the process, you do see results. And when it comes to the antioxidants, your body needs time to show their toxin-eliminating, disease-fighting, and age-preventing qualities.
Glutathione is a potent antioxidant that resides in every cell of your physical body, hence it is naturally produced by your body. However, the levels of this “miracle” ingredient could be low or subdued by things like pesticides, heavy metals, preservatives and stuff like that.
This book will reveal to you the most efficient foods to eat (avocados, oranges, spinach, watermelon), supplements to add to your daily regimen (like Q10, vitamin C, magnesium), and provide the heads-up for things you need to be watching for.
Truly an incredible read to understand the body and take a positive action to help it deal with daily life, pollutants and pre-cursors of free radicals.
And you definitely will be motivated to know that exercise boosts the production of glutathione to create its most efficient release from the tissues.
FUN FACT: There is also some evidence that if you exercise throughout your life, you will maintain higher glutathione levels as you age.

The Christmas Dress
How can I not feature a book with the Holiday spirit?! Of course there is room and a perfect occasion for that!
Actually, I featured “The Christmas Dress” by Courtney Cole last year in my holiday gift shopping guide for audiobook lovers and book fans. But the story plot is so classic! It is like watching “It’s A Wonderful Life” movie every year during holidays (made in 1946, and still going strong and relevant.)
The book is about one dress and two women who by life’s circumstance become connected. I don’t want to disclose all the nice twists and turns, but you gotta read the book in order to appreciate the spirit and life, too.
I also have some interview questions I included into the audiobook lovers shopping guide in the link above. You will learn about author’s inspiration and intent for writing her “Christmas Dress” story.
You can purchase the book for yourself or as a gift HERE.
