Welcome, I’m Larisa
Hello, Beautiful!
If you have ever stood in front of the mirror wondering why your skin suddenly feels drier, duller, or less firm than it used to – and wondered whether the products you have trusted for years are simply no longer working – I want you to know something important before we go any further.
You have not failed your skin. Your skin has not failed you. It is changing, and those changes deserve a new kind of understanding, a new kind of care, and someone who can guide you through them with honesty and warmth.
That is what I built Celebrate Woman Today to do. And that is why I am so glad you are here.
HOW THIS ALL BEGAN
A little girl, her mother’s lotion, and a lifelong love of skin
My relationship with skin started when I was about seven years old. I would sneak into my mother’s room, gather a little of her lotion, mix it with water, maybe a handful of sand or a few flower petals – convinced, with complete certainty, that I was creating something extraordinary.
My parents were both doctors. My father was a pediatric surgeon. My mother was an OBGYN. The body, its biology, and the quiet intelligence of how it functions were woven into our conversations from the very beginning. Beauty and science were never separate worlds in our home. They were one and the same.
Years later, I earned a Master’s in Education, driven by a desire to teach and support others. Then a Master’s in Business Administration, with a thesis exploring consumer behavior and wellness-driven purchasing, because I understood that knowledge alone is not enough – it has to reach people in ways they can actually use. And then, finally, I went back to school one more time and became a Licensed Esthetician.
That is when I came home to myself.
The combination of education, business, and skin science became the foundation of Celebrate Woman Today – a platform built for women who deserve to understand their changing skin, not just manage it. Just like that little girl reaching for her mother’s lotion, I believe beautiful, radiant skin is possible at every age. I just happen to know now exactly how to support it.
WHO I CREATE FOR
The women who inspire everything here
I create for women who are 40 and beyond – women moving through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause who are ready to understand their skin rather than feel defeated by it.
You are intelligent and curious. You have tried things. You read ingredient labels, do your research, and genuinely want to make good decisions for your skin and your body. You may feel frustrated by a routine that no longer delivers what it once did, confused by the overwhelming number of products and promises competing for your attention, or quietly wondering whether firmer, brighter, more radiant-looking skin is still possible at this chapter of your life.
I am here to answer that question – with education, with evidence, and with warmth – because the answer is yes. Absolutely yes.
Menopause skin is not broken. It is asking for a new kind of care. When you understand exactly what is happening to your skin during this chapter – how shifting hormones affect your collagen, your moisture barrier, your skin’s texture and tone – you stop guessing and start making decisions that genuinely serve the skin you are living in. That clarity, that confidence, that guided path – that is what Celebrate Woman Today is here to give you.
