I found this UV sterilizer for personal items very helpful for my family. That is why I decided to bring awareness to the products like this one. Disinfecting options are available for mass population in the home and small office environments, not just for medical and big establishments.
During this Covid-19 situation, many more people are more concerned about the ways they could clean personal items from germs. And it includes their personal care items, every day use items, and kid’s toys and books as well.
What’s important is to understand that washing hands, washing personal items with soapy solution and cleaning them with disinfectant wipes and liquids get their job done.
However, there are some unique tools specifically designed to clean personal items from germs in the home and home office environments. In fact, UV-C compact sterilizer for home use is one of such powerful gadgets.

Benefits of Using UV Sanitizer for Personal Items
I have been using the Coral UV-C sterilizer in my home to clean my personal items from germs and bacteria. Here are the features in this nifty home electronic equipment that I appreciate to the max.
It is a convenience, effective germ-killing technology, and minimal design that make this sanitizer for personal items to stand out. I can easily disinfect a lot of items, including the face masks my entire family has worn during the day.
UPDATE: For some reasons, UV-C Coral Sterilizer is unavailable at Amazon store. I have found comparable UV sterilizers you can explore and invest into.
– UV Sterilizer and Dryer HERE. It can sterilizer anything from beauty and personal use items to baby items and more.
– Big Box Sanitizer, highly rated for home use HERE. It’s engineered with enhanced reflectivity and allows you to sanitize even wet items. Phone keys, credit card wallets, toys, beauty items and anything that fits into this big box. It is a USA-based company that offers customer service.
Using UV-C Technology in a Compact Sterilizer
It should be noted that disinfecting with UV light has been used for years, since the 50s of the twentieth century. In this current Covid-19 situation, the need and demand for the UV sanitizing tools have grown tremendously.
In addition, you need to understand that UV light has three categories. They are UVA, UVB and UVC.
For UV sterilization, only UVC (100-280 nm) has high enough energy to effectively kill microorganisms.
For this reason, the UV-C technology has been used in hospitals to sanitize and disinfect the spaces, tools, and medical equipment. And with using smaller tools like Coral sanitizer, we all can take advantage of keeping our personal items free of pathogens.
UV-C light effectively kills germs and bacteria by breaking down their DNA. This process disrupts their ability for further reproduction in as little as 10 minutes.
I found it very educational to read many articles not only on the concrete benefits of different lights, but also how such technologies can be used in the home environment. Here are a few links you may find enlightening.
– Shedding a light on ultraviolet-C technologies in the hospital environment, read it HERE.
– Use of ultraviolet-C in environmental sterilization in hospitals: A systematic review on efficacy and safety. All details are HERE.

Multi-functionality of the UV-C Compact Sterilizer for Home Use
With Coral sterilizer, you are also going to enjoy just enough room inside its chamber to clean all the necessary items that come close with contamination.
Without a doubt, an obvious object to clean these days is our cellular phone. But with a quick 10-minute sterilization session, your personal items are ready for you to use them again! It is no brainer for me how to clean personal items from germs.
In our family, we use our UV-C compact sterilizer several times a day to disinfect our phones, small toys, pens and pencils, glasses, face masks galore, tooth brushes, computer mouse, car keys, iPads and many other things we can fit inside the Coral UV sanitizer.
CORAL UV sterilizer has a drying function built in. If you need to wash something before placing it into a sterilization chamber, it can dry them, too! Baby bottles, makeup foundation sponges, makeup brushes are a good example for using this drying function.
It is important for me to know that Coral UV can back up their claims of 99.9% UV-C sanitation with successful tests from accredited institutions. This UV sterilizer machine for home is FDA and EPA approved.

Our youngest daughter has cancer and is going through chemotherapy. ANYTHING that we can do to help make our home cleaner and safer for her, is a true blessing. This would truly come in handy!
Libby,
Your baby does need this one. This sterilizer could be such an easy thing for her to disinfect all the items she uses. Plus, the visitors can sterilize their masks before they come into the room, too.
I have been seeing these advertised and wondered if they really do work and if they are worth getting. It’s nice to read about them from someone who actually knows and not some fake review on a shopping site.
Paula,
Before I recommend anything to my amazing women in the audience, I do a thorough research, including peer-reviewed research from scientists, doctors and professionals.
This UV technology has been used for several decades in the medical field and in the industrial field like food production, as an example.
Making equipment that is small enough for home and small office use is an incredible way to help us to afford it and use as a preventative measure against viruses, bacteria and other pathogens.
This product sounds like a valuable addition to any household. It also seems pretty easy to use as well. I would love to get one for my niece. She has two small children and could use an easy, effective device to clean all the germs on toys, etc.
Wen,
Using is as easy as 1,2,3: put all the things inside you want to sterilize and push the button. Wait for 10 minutes, and it is all done.
I’d like it to better clean our keys and phones after we have been in public. We ran out of Lysol months ago and I want to keep ahead of any possible Covid Virus contaminations. Thanks and God bless!
Rose,
This Coral sanitizer is a huge help and saves a ton of washing cycles. Besides, you can sterilize anything that cannot be washed.
Alot of interesting facts. Took some notes
Amy,
This is great you’ve learned something.
And taking notes would be nice to use to dig even further into the subject.
Would love to be able to quickly sanitize our masks, keys and other objects so effectively and on the go. My husband is going through Chemo so we have been being super careful about being out and staying safe. But this would be so helpful to keep us healthy and safe!
Shannon,
This Coral sterilizer could become your friend. So easy to drop all the small items into it and be done in 10 minutes. All is clean and ready to be reused.
Your situation calls for it especially.
I would use this for all smaller electronics such as cell phones, TV remotes, fitness trackers (?). Hubby travels for work and I wipe his stuff down when he gets home…even though he’s done it several times!
Barrie,
This cool portable sterilizer is a must-have for all of us to take a quick and timely care of disinfecting process.
I’ve never even heard of this!
Michelle,
We learn something new every day. Only this time, you can actually apply this new fact to your daily life.
Ever since I went to have my eyeglasses adjusted and they tossed them into a machine like this to clean I’ve wanted one for myself.
I would use it for sterilizing cellphones, TV remote, toothbrushes, etc. Need to keep the family safe & healthy!
Kevin,
This sterilizer has been an amazing savior in time and a huge convenience for us.
Being in a greater risk category, this is a wonderful device for helping us keep germs at bay. Not only during COVID 19 but especially during the cold & flu season. The first thing I would sanitize is our toothbrushes! Then our phones! Being portable it would be a big help to take it to the item for cleaning rather than moving the item to some other location and risk it not getting back to its normal place. A handy item, indeed!
Carol,
Yes, this sterilizer has been an amazingly handy device these days. I don’t need to run a washer to clean face masks and smaller clothing items.
Plus, this machine disinfects without water, which allows all unwashable items to be sterilized.
Love the info on this. I’ve been on the fence about getting one!
This such an awesome product at the right time. There are so many items that we need to clean right now that we cannot dunk in soap and water. This is a great solution.
Helen,
That’s what I thought. And it takes only 10 minutes to sterilize a box filled with all your things inside of it! I also throw all face masks as frequently as I need. Really, really saves me a ton of time to wash them in hot water and dry.
My daughter has to have two masks per day for school. I use at least one. Then there are phones and glasses. I’m sure I could fill it up once a day at least.
I have a scent allergy and most of the dissecting wipes have a scent. They tear my hands, this would be fantastic to clean things and save my skin.
I would love one for my family to use especially because my son is Diabetic with a heart transplant. We’ve been in since March & were always worried about germs with him especially the flu now with Covid its really worrying for all of us.
Laurie,
This sterilizer would really be of help to you all in this situation.
Good luck in winning it.
My sister has MS and has to be very careful about germs. I know this sanitizer would be such a wonderful gift for her to sanitize the items for her and her 4 kids. If I win, I am giving it to her.
Tamara,
This would be awesome for you to gift it to your sister. She really needs it.
I have been wiping my personal items with alcohol pads and antibacterial wipes, but I’ve been worried about the I’ll effects this will have on these items. I like this product as a Replacement for my current sanitization methods.
Pam,
This UV sterilizer is an amazingly nifty and very handy machine. I keep it in the bathroom and sterilize a few times a day, as different things call for it.
I eliminated many cycles in my waster. Plus, I save disinfecting wipes for other things.
I’m developing a bit of germaphobia…and it was happening before Covid19! So, I’d love to give this a go. Thanks.
the reason is bc of covid-19 i want to keep my things clean.
I love the idea of daily sterilization of personal items during this pandemic.
Jeanna,
This mini sterilizing machine has been a huge helper. I don’t need to collect small items anywhere in order to wash and sterilize them at the end of the day or right away.
Instead, I drop them into this UV sterilizing box and start a cycle. In 10 minutes, all is done.
It could in handy.
First time I have seen anything like this, good idea for items that get return from school each day.
Barbara,
This sterilizer has been an amazing win-win for me and my family. I am the one who is cleaning and washing and sterilizing all that comes from the outside every day. And this mini machine has reduced my washer cycles to one a day.

My kids and I really need this for our phones. It could help keep us healthy.
Rhonda,
We really have been taking advantage of this Coral sterilizer. So quick to disinfect things! No need for wipes or even running an extra cycle in the washing machine.
Once COVID is (somewhat) under control, I want to start traveling again – by first touring my own state as there’s several places to go birding. I could pack this in the car and use it at the end of the day (either in a “hotel” or VRBO).
Dana,
It would be a perfect addition to your traveling tools!
The Coral UV Sterilizer is a wonderful device for sanitizing personal items especially during the pandemic. Since I am in a high risk group for the virus, I would find this sterilizer very useful everyday.
And it is so quick and easy. I like that this sterilizer allows for bigger items like iPads, toys, books and anything we use during the day.
This would be great to own. I bought a sanitizer at the beginning of the epidemic. Unfortunately one of my Kindles is too big to fit inside. This looks as if it would be quite a bit bigger.
I would love to have this to use especially when I get home from work and sterilize everything. You just can’t be too careful nowadays. Wish everyone took it seriously!
Polly,
This sterilizing machine is super easy to use and such a big convenience these days. I don’t have to wash small things in a big washing machine. Instead, I use this UV Coral Sterilizer.

I like how compact this is. I hate when things are so bulky and you can’t find space for them.
As both my husband and I are compromised this would be a great item to have to sterilize personal items like our phones, etc after those times we have to go out and about. Thanks for the chance to win one.

Old technology in a new way for home use to support our needs at these times like Covid.
So interesting and very handy in this day and time. Thanks for sharing friend!
