PIXAR animation and writing teams work hand-in-hand and go through changes thousands of times without exaggeration. We were brought into a circle of people who peaked into the details and processes of HOW-TO a PIXAR movie is being done. Take a look at the production pipeline and its complexity for CARS 3. And here’s a fascinating story of CARS 3 story as being conceived and told by the writers team.

During our trip to PIXAR, we had a magical opportunity to get a first sneak peak into the PIXAR short movie LOU. Director Dave Mullins shared his story of creating this next masterpiece from PIXAR.

I would not like to spoil your chance to discover a REAL LOU, who he is and why he was placed into the box by the school yard, peaking from it and and trying to get out of it.

The whole idea of any PIXAR short is to learn a lesson that is presented in a unique – almost 4-dimensional – perspective. With Dave Mullins, we were taken on an amazing trip through such a dimensionality of a PIXAR short movie. From a slide below, you can see just a handful of steps of creating a PIXAR movie.

  17. I can’t wait to see Cars 3…I have a younger cousin, I babysit him quite often and we always end up watching Cars or Cars 2. Personally I loved the first one so bad, but from the trailer and the sneek peaks I can tell I’ll love this final movie of the trilogy as well!

  20. I didn’t really like the 2nd movie but this 3rd one is amazing and I really enjoyed watching it with the kids. I think they did a great job and this short was awesome as well!

  30. My daughter and I went to a Cars 3 screening earlier this week. I loved the Pixar Short Lou. It had such a great lesson in such a short amount of time. It also made me laugh.
