Halloween is right around the corner! My daughter has already picked out her costume and gets more and more excited every day. Halloween is one of my family’s favorite holidays. We love to decorate, dress up, and of course, hand out treats to the little ghouls and goblins who come to our door on a Halloween night. But there is one thing I’m not too thrilled about when it comes to Halloween – all the junk food given out!

The first thing my family and I tried were the YumEarth Fruit Snacks which were available in banana, cherry, peach, and strawberry in one pack, and pineapple, raspberry, and mango in the other. I was SO amazed at how good these tasted!

Time to try the YumEarth Lollypops which turned out to be my daughter’s favorite. Just like the fruit snacks, the flavor is better than any other lollypop I’ve ever tasted. I am loving this, I don’t like to give folks kids a ton of sugar. I also don’t really give my kids a ton of sugar. I will seek this out for this Halloween. Parents will be thankful for it.

We are researching the possibility of a gluten-free diet for my toddler who has apraxia. These will make the healthy change a little less painful to the sweet tooth.

We don’t buy these kinds of treats for the kids but it’s a good alternative to get fruits. We prefer fresh fruits.

Organic candies! First time I’ve heard about them. I guess its that time of the year again when we have to stock up on candies. I will get some of these Yum Earth candy to give away as treats.
I love Yum Earth candy. Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday but kids enjoy getting candy out if the deal. I try to pass out non candy treats whenever possible.
I have given non-candy treats the last xouple years. I will check this out and may change things up.
Soooo… is it bad that I scheduled my hubby and me for a cruise so I can avoid Halloween? We’re letting grandma take that duty. 🙂 She’s an organic granny, so I might stock up on these.
