Plantar fasciosis, plantar fasciopathy, jogger’s heel are a few synonyms for Plantar Fasciitis. No, it is not a pretty thing. Rather, plantar fasciitis is characterized with pain in the heel and bottom of the foot.
It takes time and individual effort to take good care of the feet and this condition. Women’s casual and business shoes that support and help to manage the pain caused by plantar fasciitis are essential. That is why I decided to put together this quick informational post on the Top Best Sandals for Plantar Fasciitis for women. Therafit Shoes and their best casual style sandals come to your rescue!
Why to Wear The Best Shoes Every Day?
I’ve researched to find out whether it’s possible to avoid plantar fasciitis. The fact is that our lifestyle – be it active or sedentary – could produce the pain in the feet that is a direct result of plantar fasciitis, an inflammation and tearing at the heel bone. The best way to be ahead of such painful occurrance is to pay attention to the shoes we wear.
I know that many women take care of everybody else in the family and ignore their aches and pains until they become intolerable. Sacrificing your own health – foot health in this instance – will not be of benefit to anybody else in the family.
What Can You do to Avoid Plantar Fasciitis?
• Check your shoes at least twice a year before a warm and a cold season and do allocate funds to buy a new pair of shoes for your precious feet. Good cushioning and comfortable shoe shapes would provide your feet with necessary support, especially if you work on your feet all day long.
• Get shoes with good arch support. Such support in your shoes would eliminate extra and unnecessary stretching of your arch.
• Take good care of your weight management and you will be caring for your feet health at the same time. Extra body weight could result in plantar fasciitis. Relaxing and stretching exercises for your calf muscles would be beneficial in preventing plantar fasciitis.
I discuss fascia in detail in my post about Self Myofascial Release. Check out the tools I use to break up sticky fascia.

You seriously gotta try a pair of Therafit shoes. I’ve owned many pairs, and do have a pair I wear just inside the house.
Comfortable and stylish and with so many color options, too.
My mother and grandmother would find this very useful! They both suffer from heel pain. These sandals will ease it.
Sabika,
Yes, definitely, these shoes would be a comfortable walk for both of them.

To heal my feet pain, I also began lymphatic massage and self myofascial release. All the links are in the post above.

I have exremities problem, venous insufficiency, to be exact. I hope it has sandals or something for me that could address this health issue. I am wearing compression stocking, though.
Ramil,
Therafit shoes support the feet structure and help with plantar fasciitis. Compression socks support your veins. But the technology in Therafit is great for anybody.
Please know that this is a brand created for women. However, there are colors there that could be worn by men, too.
The sandals have avery pretty variety of style! Looking forward to buy soon 🙂
The shoes are very good looking and most important, they are so comforting for the feet.
In addition, they are much less expensive than those ugly ones bought directly from the orthopedic stores.
I love how these sandals are stylish and practical. I have plantar fasciitis and it is so painful with the wrong footwear.
Amy,
These sandals are some of the best. I have a pair wearing at home and use them only inside the house. But I figured, I need at least 2 pairs of shoes plus running shoes to support my during the plantar fasciitis.
Since I’ve begun my self myofascial release and lymphatic massages (all done by myself at home), I am getting where I need to be pain free.
These are cute sandals. I have high arches, I wonder if they have styles for that
Tara,
They do. The pair in the pictures in my post would accommodate a high arch. Plus, the majority sandals have self-adjusting over band.
One of my good friends has plantar fasciitis. With the warmer weather coming, she’ll want a pair of sandals that’ll work for her. I’ll share this with her!
Rog,
These sandals are cool looking and VERY accommodating to the feet.
I’ve tested out many models, including running shoes by Therafit. I love them all. But the sandals are my most favorite, as they provide Clinically-tested support.
The mechanism they use inside has been medically tested and offered for all kinds of aches and pain in the feet.
They are cute and look super comfortable! I’ve heard great things about the brand! Love all the styles as well!
I always go for comfy footwear! These look awesome!

These sandals are worth your trying! They made a huge difference in my life. Totally changed my life for the better.
Luckily as a runner I haven’t suffered from plantar fasciitis, but tons of my friends have! I’ll pass along these recommendations for sandals. I know they’re always looking for good shoes.
Tania,
I got the pain from running, as I did a lot of it. Though I was stretching and did all the preventive stuff, I had an excruciating pain in my feet. I had to stop running for three years. You may feel this pain of not being able to run.
These shoes really helped me to begin walking again.
Now, I am able to run again. I put my body back together thanks to the modalities I discovered outside the conventional medical wisdom. The links are above.
Plantar fasciitis is the worst! I have to get good shoes or I can’t do anything fun with my family because its so bad to walk.
I never thought about getting new shoes every 6 months! It makes a lot of sense though. I need to check my shoes soon becayse I have had them for a while.

They look comfortable.
These shoes look so pretty and comfortable. A perfect addition to a summer wardrobe,
My sister would love these! She is in pain everyday. It is like being held hostage… partially by the pain, partially by the tollders that she is trying to care for through the pain!
Kerry,
These sandals or shoes from Therafit are worthy of trying out. I have been a happy customer of them and tried out many models and styles.
In addition, these shoes are much less expensive than other shoes that can go up to $400-500 a pair.
I love the styles of these sandals! Very good to see there are so many beautiful options.
Therafit has some really stylish sandals to deal with Plantar Fasciitis. My mother has Plantar Fasciitis and has difficulty find shoes that are comfortable.
Terry,
The styles, the colors and support are unprecedented by Therafit. I have worn many of their sandals and running shoes, and adore them all.
These shoes look so comfy! I love styles and colors of the sandals, so pretty. I can see me wearing these with a pretty summer dress or even my blue jeans. Great post!
Living in SoCal means I wear sandals close to year-round, so I need a good pair of sandals that are not only stylish for work, but functional for me to walk around a lot in. These look great!
Those look like super comfortable shoes. I have suffered from plantar fasciitis many times- so I know how important good supportive shoes are for foot health.
These are great tip on how to help your feet!
These are so cute, and they look extra comfy too.
I try to buy some new shoes twice a year. I’ve suffered from plantar fasciitis and its really painful.
They are nice looking sandals and comfortable for the feet too
These shoes would be perfect for my daughter. She needs good arch support especially since she’s on her feet a lot in her teaching job. My husband suffered with plantar fasciitis and it was extremely painful making it difficult for him to walk. It’s so important too take care of your feet and buy good shoes to support them.
Terri,
These shoes are made for the feet to feel comfortable and supported all-day-long. I wear them inside the home and have a different pair for the outside.
Therafit makes some of the best shoes and sandals for problem feet like mine. Glad to have a company that helps people with that.
My sister could use these shoes. Some really cute ones.
I am loving their sandals. What a great variety of style.
So many cute styles. I love the support they give our feet. The older I get the more I appreciate this. Thank you so much for sharing
I would love to try a pair of Therafit shoes. I have terrible neuropathy and think these would help.
I usually wait until my shoes are falling apart before I buy a new pair. These are very stylish for being a sandle made for a medical issue. I would definitely wear these!
Tracey,
Waiting for your shoes to fall apart is not kind to your own feet. Please take good care of your feetsies! Good luck in this giveaway.
As a cashier and sales person I would have loved to have had some shoes like these. Now being disabled I suffer with blockage in my legs which leaves me in constant pain. I have chronic pain now and having nerve damage due too my diabetes doesn’t help, but only add to the pain. Wondering will these the of shoes still be beneficial for me?
Bamm,
Therafit sandals are my everyday “slippers” at home. My feet were in huge pain due to my running. When I first tried Therafit sandals, they eliminated the pain of walking almost with the first steps. These shoes help my feet heal in addition to all of my yoga and special routine I am doing daily.
These are worth trying. And if you are not happy with them – return them back!
I seldom wear sneakers but when I do they have to be really decent for walking. Good article. Thanks for sharing.
Usually when I need a new pair. I thinks it’s been a couple of years since I had a new pair
Carrie,
Unless you have a dozen of pairs of shoes that you wear intermittently – which helps the shoes to stay in better shape and wear off slower – two years are way too long to wait for a pair of shoes for your feet to wear.
The support wears out, and chronic conditions are crawling in.
Plantar fasciitis is the worst! I had a lot of flare ups when those minimalist shoes were all the rage (2008-2012). I’m all about the stability and support now.
I havent bought a new pair of shoes in 2 years. I’ve been wearing the same pair of boots for 7 months straight and had the same shoes for over a year. My shoes are not comfy anymore and I definitly need to get some new shoes!
I do not buy new shoes as often as I should, maybe every 6 months.
I like to get new walking shoes about every 6 months or so whenever I need the I will get them.
I like the details in these therafit shoes. I buy new shoes only when needed, preferably once a year or less so I look for products/shoes that are made to last and comfortable.
I need to replace my walking shoes more often. The therafit shoes look so stylish for a shoe that provides so much support and comfort.
wow amazing shoes for sure well made love them
My mom had both bunions removed and i cant agree more about being careful with our feet, these shoes are very cute. I will definetly share with her too.
Maybe yearly? I am not sure. I am guilty of just waiting until my shoes look bad- then replacing them.
I’ll have to mention this to my mom who has Plantar Fasciitis. She’s an ER nurse, so I often worry about her pain level from long hours on her feet. Perhaps a good Mother’s Day gift?
Kayte,
These shoes would be a saving grace for her!
No more thinking she’s walking in pain!
Worth to try. And there’s always a great return policy. But she won’t do it!
These shoes look awesome! I’m a runner and have many runner friends. Sadly, many of my friends have Plantar Fasciitis from running.
I usually buy shoes about twice a year.
Thankfully I don’t suffer from that condition but the shoes are so cute I would buy them anyway!
Therafit has some really nice looking shoes. I really love that they are so well made, too.
I have oddly sized feet (very small at 5 1/2) and serious health problems that cause a lot of troubles. These sandals are not only healthy but the are actually cute. Usually when you hear that the shoes help with some problem they invoke images of those awful shoes from years gone by that were so ugly. I have not bought any new shoes in around a year and a half, before that I bought so many I thought I should stop. Was not aware that as an adult I needed to keep up with my feet like when I was younger.
Rebecca,
I hear you. Once you become aware of some things, your mind will be directing you to stick to the routine that is best for your feet. Live and learn.
I have never herd of Therafit shoes I like the Sydney Women’s Adjustable Floral Leather Sandal they look really comfortable I try to buy shoes a couple of times a year
Donna,
All sandals have plantar fasciitis technology in them. The colors are so many, everybody has to choose from!
I am a physical therapist so I will have to mention these sandals to my patients!
Natalie,
You gotta try these yourself! Very, very comfortable and supportive for the feet. Especially, if you’re on them all day long.
I will get 2 pairs of shoes each year unless my boots have worn out or my sandals. I live in my slides but they aren’t good for my feet. I’ve been noticing my feet hurting more too, these sandals sound absolutely perfect for me! Thanks so much for sharing!
Sally,
It is your business, but slides are not supportive of our feet. Being in them for the majority of hours in the day can hurt the feet. And with the feet, go your lower back, spinal cord, knees and the entire system can collapse.
Treat yourself nice every day. Your Feet deserve the best.
These shoes look amazing. I’m always on the hunt for comfortable shoes and I don’t buy new shoes very often, maybe once every few months. I find that I have a lot of shoes, but only a few that are comfortable enough, and since I had hip replacement surgery I need super-supportive arch supports.
Jolene,
You need to try out these Therafit shoes, especially their sandals. They are some of the best ever I’ve tried or bought.
new technology is amazing. these shoes could actually solve my feet issues, and they are SANDALS! i always thought id be in ugly orthopedics forever!
Mollie,
Those days of “ugly” orthopedic shoes are gone. We have some very powerful options today! Therafit is one of them.
I personally endorse this brand without any prompt from the brand, as I experienced a huge support and pain relief for my own feet. That was a painful moment that was gone in no time when I put on my Therafit sandals, which I wear at home at all times.
Before my feet problem, I could not truly speak about how much they were helping.
Today, for those who experience foot pain, it is worth trying a pair of Therafit shoes. Love my sandals which I invest into every 3 months to give my feet the appropriate support.
I also found out that when I have several pairs of shoes which I wear interchangeably, the shoe wear and tear is much less, which allows me to extend my time when I buy a new pair of shoes.
I view each purchase of these shoes as investment into my well-being. Instead of paying towards medical treatments and modalities – which I tried an infinite number – I invest into the shoes that truly help to live without pain.
I have a pair of Therafit sandals and they are so comfortable! They have so many styles and colors to choose from too. 🙂
Lauryn,
It is true. Comfort is uniquely paired with style and taste.
These look super comfortable! I absolutely HAVE to wear comfortable shoes…I tore my feet up years ago wearing high heels so often! The point about weight is true…10 extra pounds and I can feel it in my feet and knees. Good footwear is important and I love the choices they have on these!
Christina,
Therafit sandals, any of them, feel amazing on the feet. I found it out first-hand when I developed sore feet that could not even walk. When I stepped into Therafit shoes, almost all pain was gone and allowed me to move around.
Thanks to that, literally, painful experience, I proved to myself that this Therafit technology works.
And, yes, they have amazing selection in color and style.
I cringe as I write this but I buy new shoes for myself about once every 3 years. Usually it’s when rain is leaking through the holes that I’m like ok time to go shoe shopping.
Jessica,
I hope you can treat yourself to a good pair of shoes more frequently.
I have a pair of inside sandals I wear at home to support my feet. Therafit has amazing variety and quality of shoes, especially for those with aches and pain in the feet.
I buy shoes 6 – 8 times a year.
I buy shoes once or twice a year. I love Therafit shoes. They are so comfy.
I love shoes and use yo but them all the time. But now I probably buy 4 pair a year if that many.
I only buy new shoes once or twice a year. I used to have a bad shoe habit but have weaned myself off. It wasn’t easy–I love having good shoes!
Usually 3-4 times a year… I am very hard on shoes…..
I buy new shoes once a year or every other year.
I usually buy new shoes twice a year, unless I find a super good sale.
I usually buy 2 new pairs of shoes in each of the four seasons.
I usually buy new shoes once or twice a year!
I buy shoes once or twice a year
I buy new shoes about twice a year.
