Hitting the road for my morning run today was a blissful feeling indeed. I wanted nothing, but a free flowing thought and to reflect the beauty of the Everglades around me.
Running gives me precious time to think. And think creatively. During such inspirational trips early in the morning, my mind is ready to receive anything that comes its way. Sometimes, it’s profound discoveries I’ve never thought of. At times, it’s remembering something or somebody in my life and making a decision to reconnect.
But no matter what it is, I feel refreshed and motivated and ready for my entire day. My spirit is aligned with my conscious mind. I love feeling this way!
These jogging trips in the morning are my outlet to create and recreate my life, to sharpen my focus on my Dream path, and truly experience joy.
After all, this is a water lilies blooming season here in the Everglades where I live. To partake in the process of unfolding beauty, being able to see it every day brings a humbling experience to be thankful for simple things and be responsible for every day we live in.

What a beautiful area you live in.
The only thing I can think about when I’m running is not dying. J/K. I don’t run. 🙂
Seriously though, it is so important to take time to be by yourself and think. Everyday life can really disconnect us from what is going on inside us. We disconnect from our body and don’t notice when something goes wrong. We also don’t truly see what is going on around us. Sometimes, when we just take a second to STOP and listen, the answers are being shouted at us form all directions!
I am not near anything like that, but do live in a rural area. If, and when, I am up early in the mornings – I love sitting out on the patio drinking my morning coffee and watching the sun come up. The birds are coming alive with their chirping and the sounds of the woods are all you can hear. It is a peaceful time when I can collect my thoughts.
No where near with that kind of beauty to jog through (if I jogged!) or even talk a leisurely walk (possibility if I lived there!)–I have to drive a distance to find peace and serenity-but of a different type–trees, wild flowers, birds chirping.
