Being exposed to something beautiful every day of my life is what I am striving to do. Be it a few minutes with my face turned to the warmth of the winter sun or listening to the favorite tune or just reflecting during a quiet time alone. Anything that allows me to be at peace and seek that moment of creative idea works!
Have you realized that the daily use of products of organic and all-natural nature help us to tap into positive emotions and be energized in a powerful way to succeed in daily life? Just imagine that moment when you apply a beautifully smelling lotion or quench that thirst with a cool drink. While you are enjoy the smell, the taste of a product you’re enjoying at the moment, knowing that all ingredients inside of it are put together to make your daily life more powerful only reinforce the importance of using eco-clean, organic, truthfully all-natural products.
Such products have a power of transformation: Inside-Out. Little would you know that my friend Beth got inspired from using this simple product she talks about below.
Non-Toxic Household Cleaner
When I first received Le Savonnier Marseillais in the mail, I was a little skeptical. Usually products that are actually effective aren’t “natural,” they’re “gentle.” Or, they claim to be “natural,” but there’s an asterisk next to the word “Natural” and there’s a lengthy disclaimer indicating that the product is mostly “natural.” Except for the handful of glycol ethers we toss in to make sure there’s no waxy buildup. Oh sure. Except that.
So, of course, when I wanted to test this new soap with the French name on it, I’ll be honest, I can’t really pronounce, I decided to go right to the toughest spot in my house: The black, streaky, grimy, greasy counter. Don’t get me wrong– our kitchen counter is gorgeous. It’s beautiful, rich black granite … and it shows every speck of dust, every streak and every water spot. This is especially magnified in a house with four kids.
Yes, we know. Clearly, we did not think this through.
Looking for recommendations for non-toxic natural cleaners?
But, after years of trying and tweaking, we have perfected our counter-cleaning routine.
One simply has to:
1. Wet down the counter with a wash cloth
2. Spray the counter with a natural cleaning product (whose name I’ll keep to myself)
3. Scrub a bit
4. Dry the counter with a clean dish towel.
It’s a simple process and it doesn’t take more than 10 minutes. (You can’t see me, but I’m rolling my eyes.)
Obviously, I need this process simplified. So, I mixed the wonderful-smelling lilac soap with the water and simply wiped everything down.
Then, I waited. I even resisted the urge to take out a clean dish towel and dry it.
It dried on its own and guess what! NO streaks! I kid you not. No streaks, no water spots… nothing!
I have since used it to clean our kitchen table and a few spots on the floor and it has worked great – but nothing impresses me more than that stubborn counter!!
As a mom of four who really, really strives to buy natural products, I highly and happily recommend this! It is a time-saving, great-smelling solution to your cleaning needs!
