Easy Steps for Making Halloween Mummy Dogs
I have opted for a hot dog inside of its Crescent dough blanket. This recipe is easy to duplicate. We are having a small Halloween party, and these would be a great addition to the grab-and-go menu for all in attendance.
Yummy Mummy appetizer food will be ready in no time!
Grab one can of Crescent dough and roll it out on a parchment paper like a big blanket. Do not separate the perforated pieces!
With your hand, carefully snip together along the perforated lines to keep them close and glued together.
With a pizza cutter, cut this big dough blanket into strips, about half-an-inch wide.
Roll each hot dog into the Crescent dough strip and set aside on a baking pan sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes. I also make mini mummy dogs for little kids. Just cut a hot dog in half to get a smaller portion.

When the mummy hot dogs are ready, place a slice of cheddar cheese at the head area of each mummy. Use cake sprinkles to make the eyes. I had white decorating prailine to make the eyes for my mummies.
