Looking for the best tips for beautiful eyes that are effective? With this concise post you will learn essential eyes tips, get an idea of the food good for eyes, and how to keep your peeps healthy and beautiful on the daily basis.
We’ve all been told the eyes are the windows to our soul. Maybe that’s why they’re such an important part of our lives. Want to look great at work and at play? Gorgeous eyes are the place to start with, and these many tips and tricks of eye care will help you get there.
Read my detailed post if you are after natural beauty tips for eyes and last minute tricks to make you look glamorous. I discuss tried and tested methods and ways that work.
Stay Hydrated for Radiant Eyes
“The key to flawless makeup and stunning eyes starts with a daily moisturizing cream,” says makeup artist and stylist Katie Stoner of Secrets of Hair Design & Day Spa, in Butler, PA.
“Before you apply any makeup to your face, you should always moisturize the skin, including eyelids, with a daily moisturizing cream.”
Want a DIY hydration fix? Even a little dab of olive oil under your eyes and at the corners works wonders. And, believe it or not, adding moisture actually helps prevent greasy skin during the day, because your skin has no need to produce additional oils.
Stay Bright with Your Eye Makeup
“To perk up tired eyes, try an eye brightener with caffeine to help de-puff and brighten dark circles,” suggests Christina Farrell of The Makeup Blogger. One to try is Anastasia Cooling Eye Brightener or Trish Mcevoy Instant Eye Lift. Apply it under concealer, on top of the cheekbones and on top of the brow bone for the best effect.
When choosing an under-eye cream, look for mica and albumin among its ingredients. Mica has reflecting properties that bring out the brightness under your eyes, and albumin alleviates puffiness.
Pump It Up with Facial Exercises for Eyes!
We know we should tone our legs to look our best in swimsuits – and the same applies to our faces! Before applying makeup, try the quick facial exercise technique. This mini-workout lifts your brows, creating a greater distance between your eyebrows and lashes and letting more light in your eyes.
Here’s how: Place the three middle fingers of each hand under your eyebrows, with your palms flat against your face, keeping your eyes open. With your fingers, push your eyebrows up and slightly outward toward your temples. While holding up your brows, slowly push your forehead muscle toward your fingertips for a count of five. Repeat twice more, holding the contraction for 10 seconds, closing your eyes at the seventh second.
10 Affordable Ways to Take Care of Your Eyes Every Day
Beautiful eyes come from your daily care of them. What no money can buy is personal attention to your eye health and hygiene. Here are some of the most important tips for beautiful and healthy eyes.
Avoid rubbing your eyes.
Instead, use water to clean them up or wash out any tiny pieces that caused irritation.
Keep your hands clean by washing them frequently.
As we unintentionally touch our face, we bring up closer bacteria and dirt that reside on the skin of the hands.
Protect your eyes from the damaging UV sun rays.
Wearing sun glasses every time you are outside will give the protection your eyes need. UV rays can increase chances for macular degeneration that has no cure.

Natural eye care tips most are lazy to follow
Get enough of sleep.
Yes, your eyes require hours for rest and recharge. When you don’t get REM time, your chemical reactions in the body do not work for your rejuvenation. Old cells do not get replaced with new ones. And your eyes do not get all necessary vitamins and nourishing material for good vision and beautiful looks.
More on sleep and How to Stay Asleep Here
Observe the 20-20-20 rule!
This rule is very easy when you want to take long-term approach for your eye health.
– Every 20 minutes, look away from your computer monitor and fix your gaze on an object that’s 20 feet away from you.
– Blink 20 successive times to prevent eye dryness.
– Every 20 minutes, get out of your seat and take 20 steps.
Balanced daily diet to support eye health.
If you are love whole foods, fish, it can be easy for your to eat for your eye health. Make sure you consume foods rich in Beta-carotene (it is Vitamin A of plant source), Lutein (found in green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale and yellow carrots), Omega-3, Lycopene, and Vitamin C, Vitamin A, and Vitamin E.
As we age, we need additional support for our eye health in the form of effective supplements. I’ve been taking this scientifically validated formula of zeaxanthin and lutein for my eyes. Love it! Check it out HERE.
Avoid smoking for your eyes sake! Smoking increases chances for macular degeneration and cataracts. The carcinogens can damage optic nerve in the eye and increase the chances of poor vision as you age.
Cover Up Dark Circles with Quality Concealer
If you have been blessed with dark circles or been lacking sleep, you are in need of under-eye concealer. To mask dark circles and exhaustion, look for a water-resistant concealer in a peach or salmon tone, suggests Farrell. It’s best applied after your normal foundation. Pat in the inner corners of the eyes and under the eye. For extra brightening, use a light-reflecting setting powder.
In addition, having a natural looking makeup for the entire face could play its concealing role as well. A cream-based bronzer is only a few colors darker than your normal skin tone will allow you to emphasize your natural shadow without developing heavy contours.
It is perfect for weddings, pictures, and any occasion. I love this product for its small carry-me-with-you size. One tiny tube is good for two or three applications, easily.
Find the Right Color
When choosing an eye shadow color, avoid matching it too closely with the color of your eyes. Blue eyes should stick to warm browns and soft champagne shades. Green and hazel eyes look best in warm taupes, deep purples, golden browns or light peach. Brown eyes? Lucky you – all colors suit your tones.
If you’re fair, stay away from dark shades; if you’re darker-skinned, you can opt for bolder colors – but don’t overdo it!
“Eye makeup should enhance your eyes and natural beauty, but not be the first thing someone notices when they see you,” says Stoner.
If your shadow tends to disappear during the day, apply a primer first.
Get Smoky Eyes with Bronze
“For an easy and extremely flattering smoky eye, experiment with bronze!” suggests Farrell.
Bronze shadows and liners enhance every eye color and create a natural, yet sultry look for evening.
One to try: Make Up Forever Aqua Shadow Sticks in 2 and 3. Liberally apply these sticks right near the eyelash line, using the darker color on top and the lighter shimmer on the bottom lash line. Then, with a cotton swab or makeup brush, smudge the shadows together.
Widen Your Eyes
For thick, gorgeous eyelashes, start the mascara at the bottom of the eyelash and wiggle the wand in a back-and-forth motion all the way up and outward. Apply two coats.

Check out the Flawless Skin Brightener here, which helped me to lighten my dark circles under the eye-area –> http://bit.ly/2n9RUob. I have been using it for a month daily, 2x/day, AM/PM on one of my facial sun damaged spots. It almost faded away completely. I will continue use it for the next month to see if it’ll take it off completely. If not, it helped to fade that dark spot almost to nothing. I’ll post pictures. Check into that product, if you really need something like that.
