My Journey to Thicker Hair and Glossier Texture with Viviscal

The journey with Viviscal to something truly different and, at the end, extraordinary, has been my personal experience filled with excitement and satisfaction.

Here is my story and why I wanted to try Viviscal, a personal care improvement system for thicker hair. I am not balding, nor have bald spots. I do not have thin hair as I have medium to thick hair. So I suppose you may be asking yourself “then, why would you want this product?” Simple. Because I noticed my hair falling out. And I don’t mean the usual strands of hair that I would normally see. I am talking about handfulls of hair!

Reasons for Thinning Hair

I didn’t know why or what was going on with my hair! I wasn’t too worried the first time it happened. But I was concerned because I was thinking, should I be shedding hair like this in the WINTER?

Something was definitely off. And after about a month of losing chunks of hair to my hairbrush, I really started to worry. I came across a sponsored post for Viviscal, reading all about their product and the benefits of using it. And again, although I don’t have a bald spot to show, I was losing soo much volume and handfuls of hair after each wash, that I knew something needed to be done. AND FAST!

After reading what Viviscal was about, I realized that my hair and scalp could be suffering a loss of nutrition, and in fact stripping my hair and scalp of key nutrients, with just washing and styling it.

This is where the fun began of my journey to thicker hair! I was so excited when I got the products, because I had been so lost, worried, and desperate to fix this problem. I definitely kept skeptical though, because I have tried other hair care products that failed to produce any real results.

It came packaged in very nice beautifully colored boxes and they were unbelievably soft to the touch. Yes, the boxes feel like velvet! I just love a beautifully wrapped product! And they score a 10 out of 10 on that front! Very nice touch!

The boxes also include paper directions and directions labeled on the box for best results. On the supplements it includes a Nutrition Chart in this case, a Supplement Chart to show you all of what is in the supplements, how much of each ingredient. But, the boxes won’t help with hair growth, so lets move on, haha. I immediately before even taking pictures for you all, (sorry I was excited) jumped into the shower to use the shampoo and conditioner.

Once I started with the shampoo: directions read that you should do two washes because the second wash would lather better. That’s exactly what I did. The first wash took a considerable amount to get in my thinning long hair, and was not lathering well. The second wash was better, but I still had to use a hefty amount to get my hair completely lathered. Poor lathering was one thing I noticed immediately, that I did not like. The bottles are only 6.7 fl. ounces compared to regular shampoos I have: which run between 10.1-13.5 fl. ounces. The conditioner took even more product to get my hair thoroughly lathered.

I really think that the Viviscal should consider making their shampoo and conditioner bottles much bigger considering that it takes more of the product and the bottles are already significantly smaller than our usual brands. The scent of the shampoo is very pleasant and leaves your hair smelling very clean without being overpowering. After washing my hair, I let it dry naturally.

Once it started drying I noticed immediately that it felt like I had chopped 6 inches off of my hair! AMAZING AND IMPRESSIVE!!! I don’t know how they do it or how it works. But WOW!!! It left my hair feeling so light and airy adding a ton of volume!

Vivscal Shampoo and Conditioner for Thicker, Glossier Hair 

I am in love with the Shampoo and Conditioner combo! I have also used a lot of high end shampoos from salons before, but nothing comes close to how good this duo makes my hair feel. So soft, slinky, full, weightless, great volume, just all around what I NEED in a shampoo and conditioner.

The great thing was that I didn’t have to wait for results, I noticed healthier hair with just my first wash! That definitely left me optimistic for the other two products.

My next step was to add the Hair and scalp serum which you may apply to wet or dry hair. I only used this after each shampooing. It definitely helped. It’s got menthol in it to leave the scalp feeling luxurious! It was a wonderful addition to the shampoo and conditioner.

The serum really helped to nourish my scalp and hair, to make it look even more glossy and fantastic. I know my hair was getting the nutrients that I have clearly been missing in my diet. But that’s not even half of it!

The most important step I feel about the Viviscal hair care therapy is their Supplements! They aren’t too big where you are going to choke on them. And they don’t leave a bad taste in your mouth. I received their value pack, a 3-month supply of their hair care supplements. It took about 3-4 weeks to start noticing a big difference. Within that time I noticed a huge decrease in the amount of hair loss I was suffering from. I was so happy that after taking this product for 3 weeks I was finally starting to see really good results.

I took one supplement before breakfast and once at night before going to bed. That was a very easy schedule for me to keep up with. I’m usually bad at taking things at the right times during the day. At about 4 weeks, I was having what I would consider normal shedding of my hair. No longer did I see huge handfuls of hair – I mean a HUGE hair ball the size of a grapefruit! – coming out when brushing after getting out of the shower. I would absolutely recommend Viviscal products to friends with damaged hair: thinning and/or balding hair. My only issue as I stated previously is that the company should consider making the product bottles bigger to enjoy the shampoo and conditioner a little bit more. I ran out of these two products pretty fast due to my long thick hair. If you have semi-thick to thick hair and medium to long hair, you may want to consider buying two bottles to last awhile.

Thinning and falling out hair was really starting to freak me out! Viviscal really works to give your hair a reboot!
