Great glowing skin is a result of many factors:
• Overall health of body and mind
• Good nutrition ample of fiber, minerals and phytonutrients, good fats and proteins
• Sufficient exercise to get that heart rate going to pump oxygen-rich blood into the skin layers
• Regular skin care routine to add the protection from the outside to the precious organ that makes our life beautiful and happy.
Today, let's touch upon the skin care routine using the products that contain Hyaluronic Acid. What is it?
Hyaluronic Acid is a carbohydrate known as "glucosaminoglycan," or "hyaluronan" or "hyaluronate." It occurs naturally in a human body. The role of hyaluronic acid is to regulate cell growth and renewal. Critical function it is, isn't it? The only thing is that the hyaluronic acid molecule has a life of about 3 days. It is imperative our body replenishes it in a timely manner.
The food sources for hyaluronic acid are: green leafy vegetables, soybeans, beef, pork.
To supplement our organism with this valuable ingredient, many companies add hyaluronic acid into their products like the one I just received from SCS, Advanced Face Serum. Skin care and supplements with hyaluronic acid help our bodies to provide additional amounts for better well-being.
As almost 50% of Hyaluronic Acid is found in skin cells, it is beneficial to use skin products with this ingredient in them. To maintain the health of our skin and its cells, hyaluronic acid is a favorite one to use in the anti-wrinkle products. That is why skin care products like this Advanced Face Serum can be a valuable add-on to the daily skin routine.
When used regularly, we can absorb the positive side-effects that come from hyaluronic acid:
• Smoother and firmer skin
• Continuous moisturizing effect to the skin from hyaluronic acid (collagen needs it!)
• Prolonged youthful look as we age
Here are some points to keep in mind. While hyaluronic acid is a great skin lifter, it can also cause tissue damage. When does this happen?
Is It OK to Wear Hyaluronic Acid in the Sun?
Don't wear products that contain hyaluronic acid in the SUN!
That means NO such products worn to the beach ever!
What happens is that hyaluronic acid degrades in the presence of at least seven enzymes. This is normal. However, such degradation is accelerated by the presence of high levels of ultraviolet rays (UVs) from the sun. That can lead to promoting skin inflammation and even tumor cell appearance.
FYI: Hyaluronan levels are sometimes used as a biomarker for prostate and breast cancers.
Don't freak out! Take this information to responsibly use this amazing product to your health and beauty routine enjoyment. We have to know more than just read the Ingredients on the back – though, that comes first, of course!
You may also want to know that hyaluronic acid supports healthy joints and has numerous moisturizing benefits not only for skin, but also for hair, nails, eyes.

The skincare benefits of hyaluronic acid seem great, but it seems kind of scary with such warnings about not going out into the sun. Could work for people with chronically dry skin, though.
I use products that contain Hyaluronic acid, but I had no idea that you should not wear products that contain hyaluronic acid in the sun. Thank you for sharing this post, I found it very informative.
This is the first time I have heard about Hyaluronic acid for skin serum. But it sounds awesome & interesting. I am having very sensitive skin, so I am afraid to use any inorganic products. Thanks for sharing detailed information!
How interesting. It sounds like it’s very helpful for skin, but not in the sun.
It’s really good to know about staying out of the sun when using this. I live in the sunny south so it’s probably not for me, but otherwise it sounds so helpful!
I cannot wait to see what this can do ..i need the help so bad for the dryness but it sounds scar too ..going to read on this ..Thank you so much for the share
I love this. I use it with Vitamin C
I have this and I love using it. It keeps my skin soft and hydrated.
This product looks promising! 🙂
I need to start using this to help ward off wrinkles. I have a vitamin c serum and love it.
I need something like this! I am getting more wrinkles as the days go by LOL! This serum is exactly what I am looking for!
I have been using Vitamin C for years and works great thanks for sharing this info on the serum
I have used hyaluronic acid a few times, and it makes my face smooth every time 🙂
Ok I’m gonna try not to freak out. Is hyaluronic acid in other things than this serum. I do spend time in the sun in the back yard pulling weeds and gardening, sometimes I read in my hammock. I’ll have to check the ingredience in my moisturizers and dark spot creams.
I have never heard of this and had no idea I Needed it. I will be sure to check it out.
I might have to try this one! Looks like a great product!
that looks great for this time of year
