There are certain things in our lives that take a course of a “staple.” Not the one that binds paper materials together, rather fusing social lives and people’s expression of it.
Margo Manhattan has a reputation of a Socially Aware Designer who puts her passion for philanthropy into her art of bringing social consciousness up a notch with every decade.
We tend to get used to things and forget what the origin is. Thus the fate of “cleenex,” as we call it any tissue paper we use. The same honorable fate lies with the Pink Ribbon of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Margo Manhattan was the one to design the first Pink Ribbon for several cancer fund-raising efforts, including Estee Lauder’s Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Today, Margo’s visionary designs continue to live on and take the shape of her personal expression of life in jewelry.
A portion of all sales made this month would go towards Breast Cancer Research.

I would love this because I have a dear friend who just beat breast cancer. I would love to show support to those dealing with this. And I would share it with her 🙂
I would love to have this to remember & honor all those women & some men who have lost the battle or are still fighting this battle everyday!!
To raise breast cancer awareness!
I would wear to show I support breast cancer awareness
I would love to have this to give to my grandma . her sister passed from cancer not even a year ago and she misses her alot . I think I would love to give this to her so when she looks at it she can always and forever remember her sister
In rememberance of my family members who lost the battle, a friend who lost the battle, and another friend who is currently fighting the battle
It reminds us of breast cancer awareness.
My mother is a 15 year survivor! She is my rock, so strong!
I would love to win to give to my sister who’s best friend succumbed to the disease aprox 15 yrs ago, RIP Sharon. You are never forgotten!
I lost my brother 2 years ago to melanoma that then spread all over his body. He lived about 3 months after detecting it. I have never lost any loved ones to breast cancer but I’ve known several that have fought against it. I have a very good friend that heads the Pancreatic Research Action here in WV. She too lost her little brother. I just wish they could find cancers sooner so we don’t have to lose so many, especially young ones. I still cry every time I talk about my brother. He was my best friend and I miss him so much. Anyway, I love this pink ribbon and all it represents.
I love it, It is beautiful. my mom has been in remission for 35 yrs! I lost my aunt to lung cancer and it commemorates her and everyone who has gone through this!
Love this, had a Aunt have breast removed and survived, some friends that lost
I would like to win this for my Grandmother who is a survivor. She had to get a masectomy, but it saved her life. Love her to pieces!
Wow, my mom was almost diagnosed! Thank god she didnt have it
I would like to win it for my friends mother who is a survivor, she is like my mom too
I would give it to my aunt who is a breast cancer survivor. I love it, but would rather see someone who is actually fighting the battle have this special pin!
I would love to have a pin to wear to remeber all those I know that have lost their battle with breast cancer
My grandma had 5 different types of cancer in her lifetime on top of being hit my a drunk driver and made cripple at the age of 19. She raised 7 children, and lived to be 77 years old. I would love to win this and wear it in honor of her.
I would love this because my best friends grandmother who is like my own battled breast cancer and I would wear it proudly!
I would love it to wear on Nov 9th (my Relay Day) and everyday. 3 months breast cancer free for me right now!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!
This would be very near and dear to my heart. I lost my amazing mom to breast cancer 12/14/11 at only 60 years old.
I am 40 had my first mammo last year, I want this to help promote the awareness and the and how important it is to be checked and the fight for a cure! Thank you Margo!
This would be one of my most prized pieces… I have a family history of breast cancer and lumps have been found in me. Thank goodness the lumps that were found in me turned out to be nothing but with my close family history of breast cancer I have to be super careful!
My mother in law just moved in with us 3 weeks ago from Georgia. She is fighting breast cancer, we are helping her. She loves pink, and the ribbons for breast cancer awareness. I love that it stands for hope, strength and love. Praying for all those affected by cancer.
I lost my Grandmother to breast cancer and I always try to get whatever is available to purchase for breast cancer. I would proudly wear this pin in honor and memory of my Grandmother and all women and men effected by this terrible disease.
I think all nurses should wear a pink ribbon pin! I’ve helped a lot of people during their hospital stay! Would love to have a pin to wear!
This ribbon is a symbol of love, hope and memories for me of my precious Aunt Patti who lost her battle. Hope for those of us after her who pray for a cure.
I would love this! I am going through treatments now for Breast Cancer! 🙂
