The holidays are coming. More often than not, our noses catch that yummy smell in the streets when we pass by our neighbors’ houses. Many families speed up their holiday prep and start cooking more from their recipe books, including from family traditional recipes.
One of the memories that I have from my childhood is a whiff of a hot biscuit sitting on a cooling rack. I see my mom smiling and saying something about the recipe and a story that went with it. I just love that holiday spirit that allows all of us to get that special recipe out of the pile of many other recipes and reminisce and go down the memory lane.
Food is memories. And this holiday season, I am creating the memories for my own family, and doing it with biscuits celebration.
When you are busy, food prep should not suffer! There are many ways to create a memorable dinner, especially if you are ready to put a modern twist on the existing recipes and cook with some help from products that are already out there. At Sam’s Club, you can find holiday traditional foods – including biscuits – in abundance!
You can prepare biscuits per instructions or add your own twist to a recipe to make it your family tradition, if you like it. Biscuits can go with many foods and side dishes. They can be part of your dessert, too.
Two items I like to have on hand around the holidays are Pillsbury™ Buttermilk Biscuits and the Members Mark Yeasty Dinner Rolls.
Pillsbury™ Buttermilk Biscuits
These, you can get from a freezer section of the Sam’s Club and keep on hand for any emergency or quick add-on to the holiday dinner. They are ready in about 15 minutes and served hot. Yummy!
Member’s Mark Yeasty Dinner Rolls
You don’t need to go far to find these Member’s Mark Yeasty Dinner Rolls at Sam’s Club! Sold by the bag, your party needs will be covered! Enjoy these rolls as a base for any sandwich or use them with hot butter. Any way is a great way to incorporate small rolls into your bread needs for holiday dinners, lunches and brunches.
I like to take some amazing products that are out there and use them for recipes with a twist. My family knows I like to experiment with food and recipes, so they are eager to try anything!
I took this Pillsbury Pesto Chicken Crescent Ring recipe as my inspiration and made individual size rolls using the same ingredients. See below for the recipe!

Buttermilk biscuits are good any time of the day. I’d love to have them for dinner tonight.
When it comes to the holidays, everyone has their favorites. But the one thing that ends up on everyone’s plate is the biscuit! I love pesto, so I know your pesto chicken recipe is going to be one to celebrate.
I love those biscuits, they are so delicious and so easy to make!
My holiday biscuit recipe has been hand delivered to me in the form of Pesto Chicken Bite-Size Rolls. I like pictorial guide that accompanies the recipe seems. The recipe also seems easy enough to follow. Besides they look simply delectable. Thanks for sharing.
What a cute and yum recipe. This can make a great addition to kids’ lunch boxes too. 🙂
These all look scrumptious. I may try some this holiday season. When it comes to rolls or bread I leave that to my sister-in-law. She has some amazing recipes. Maybe I’ll surprise her and make one of these LOL
Those buttermilk biscuits look heavenly, I need to find my childhood recipes and start making them, I know I should have them but just never got to take them with me.
I know exactly what you mean about how certain food holds welcoming memories. There is nothing better than the smell of freshly baked biscuits and the buttermilk biscuits look delicious x
I don’t know why, but I never have biscuits with meals besides the holiday gatherings in spite of it being one of my favorite parts! I tried a yeast and honey roll recipe last year that was to die for! This recipe looks like something my family would enjoy so I’ll have to give it a go this week!
