Meeting these amazing actors playing kids in the Alexander #VeryBadDay movie was a delight, pleasure, and genuine admiration for their personal and acting abilities and skills.

The Alexander #VeryBadDay Movie
Opens October 10, 2014

Fun Fact #1  Ed Oxenbould who is per movie script was Alexander with his deep love for everything Australia, is indeed an Australian native! He had to work with a tutor to get rid of his natural accent and blend in with his American family on a big screen.

Fun Fact #2 Kerris Dorsey who plays a big sister in the movie, is indeed a superbly talented music composer and song writer! Her song “Best Worst Day Ever” was written and performed by her at the end of the movie. Kerris’ voice is a dynamite and made the soundtrack one of the best you’ll be exposed to! Wait for the very end of the movie and keep deeply seated in your chairs to hear this amazing song.

Fun Fact #3  Dylan Minnette is yet another accomplished musician who has his own band Narwhals and has written and performed along his band in the Alexander movie. The song is called “Surf Surf Don’t Drown.”

Here’s a fun interview with these three talented actors about on their bond and relationships they’ve developed during the filming of the Alexander #VeryBadDay movie.

Here are a few things that left me being amazed with these young actors. During our interview, they were so open-minded and sincere that we could not but fall in love with their attitude about life and acting.

When I asked what their biggest take-away from the movie [Alexander #VeryBadDay] making experience was, Kerris Dorsey opened her arms wide and with a big smile on her face said “THIS!” And with a sweeping motion, she embraced Dylan and Ed with her arms. The mutual understanding, camaraderie, and genuine caring for each other – that’s what was so striking during the conversation with them.

Another wonderful detail that was noticeable about these young actors was their loving, respectful attitude towards Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner, their on-screen parents. Each one of them had warm words to say about Steve and Jennifer, and how smart and witty Steve Carell is in real life, and how caring and gentle Gennifer Garner is with any person. It’s that attention to human interaction and giving respect to their fellow-actors with composure and mature evaluation that was striking about each and one of these young actors.

Without ado, please take your entire family to see this Alexander movie this weekend. It opens in theaters everywhere this coming Friday, October 10. No regrets are guaranteed! Instead of the #VeryBadDay, you are going to receive a good measure of positive charge about life, your kids, yourselves!
