Chicken Tikka Recipe
Looking to add some flavor to your grilled chicken dinners? This Chicken Tikka recipe is full of spice and is sure to become a quick family favorite. With fresh ingredients and not a whole lot of time, you will have a great meal for any time of the year.


- 3 lbs Boneless skinless chicken thighs cut in half
- Juice of 3 limes
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 3 Tbsp fresh root ginger
- 8 cloves garlic (peeled)
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 stick ground Cinnamon
- 4 gloves ground fine
- 4 tbsp smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne
- 4 green Cardamom ground fine
- 4 tbsp canola oil
- Rub the chicken with salt and 1/2 the lime juice. Let the chicken marinate for 20 minutes
- Combine your ginger, garlic, 1/4 cup of yogurt, remaining lime juice, and oil in a blender and blend until smooth.
- In a large bowl combine your ginger and garlic paste, the remaining yogurt, and spice and mix until smooth.
- Rub the mix over your chicken and marinate for 4 hours.
- Cook on your grill for 6-8 minutes on each side.
- Serve with lime wedges.
