Every year we give our kids games as gifts. The games that can be played with multiple players. The games that could be educational and enriching in many ways. By allowing our children to taste different ways of play, we support their inquisitive state of mind and encourage them to move foRward with their own ideas, thoughts, and exploration of life around them.
Wonder Forge is the company that does an immense work in kids and family space. They bring to the market an innovative way to learn and aspire for a definitely great time during playing their games.
STEM Board Games Teach Problem-Solving Skills
My son has been into the books and games that allow him to search and find, puzzles, mysteries and problem-solving-type of games. “Eye Found It!” by Wonder Forge is the game he absolutely loves playing. You can get it HERE.
I join him when he doesn’t have extra players around. To me, it’s my time of beautiful interaction of mind and skill and my child. It is an awe he sends me in any time he tells me something extraordinary. And I, his mom, simply adore hearing all hypothesis, as he calls it, coming out from him.
Just to give you an ideas of richness in content and presentation, look at these images I took during our recent play with “Eye Found It!”
Traveling along the lines of the game’s boarders is fun and allows players to develop motor skills as they are connected with the brain function. It seems like a small detail, but it plays a huge role in forming additional and stronger neuron functioning inside a child’s brain.
It’s like playing sports, only now a child has a physical picture – a board game – to interact with and pay attention to! Plus all the players, of course, who add emotional charge to the game.
This game allows to interact and take identities of different characters. The cards provide information each player can absorb and identify with for the time of the game.

STEM Activities and Games
If you are looking for something different and truly developmental for your kids this Holiday season, look into games section. Browse with your kids, online or in a physical store, to choose something they will enjoy playing with.
Remember, that if you do not offer something to them, they may never come in contact with by themselves. Our role as parents is to help our children to develop new skills and knowledge base to prepare them for their future life. And sometimes it takes a suggestion, a posing-of-a-question like “Why don’t we take a look into .. .”

These both look like really fun games for the kids and very educational in their own way. I believe it is so important to make learning fun and both of these look like they would make great gift ideas for my nephews and niece. Our kids grown up so fast and playing games with them is indeed a great way to get to know them more.
They look like fun games. We don’t give our kids games for gifts because they just wreak them and lose the pieces.
I love games that make you think. It makes playing that much more interesting.
