Food and exercise are so vital to pets’ health that they take a huge priority in everything we do for our cat or dog. However we should pay attention and allocate time towards moments of play, grooming, and treats with our pets.
The importance of playtime has several important moments to build upon our understanding about and connection with our furry friends.
• Psychological and Interpersonal Connection
While we play and tease our puppy or kitty with a toy and participate in such interaction, we create a stronger bond between our furry baby and ourselves. A pet feels more secure, more trustworthy, stronger and more confident in her behavior. That allows our pets to develop a psychological barrier to any traumas and fears, and even lower the levels of aggression.
Toys are as crucial as food. They are in a way food for brain and produce positive pheromones to keep your pets happy. Be aware that toys need to be safe for your furry baby, as they could swallow small parts of the toy. Add some rattling and squeaking “personality” to your toys! Obviously, Vet check-ups are a must. But the home environment and all that takes place there lie within our responsibility as being a Parent to healthy pets.

This is so true. Our dog had a favorite toy for two years, and when it finally fell apart, she was despondent. Truly — she moped like a kid! It took more than three months to find a suitable replacement. She’s truly a part of the family and worth the effort.

I definitely agree that healthy pets thrive with love! My English Bulldog is allergic to everything, so we have to take very good care of her diet!
We have two dogs, both rescue, they are wonderful but we can always tell the difference in their behaviour with different types of cheaper food, always try go get quality food for them.

Hills is a great food for your pets. I wish it wasn’t so expensive but I do know that if you feed your dog a premium food they don’t have to eat as much.
