One more Press Trip to the Land of Magic and where All things are possible! Follow our stories as we report them live #AladdinBloggers #Disneyland60 #TomorrowlandBloggers
We all need a little bit of magic in our lives. We need that something precious to break up the routine of the day to give into a smile that leads us onto a path of reflection and celebration of life.
Children do it naturally. Yet when we grow up, we allow that special magic to dim into the grey foggy matter of disbelief that Anything Is Possible.
Still, there is a place on this planet that makes all things be possible, all joys and celebrations of our childhood to meet in one place to make us feel happy, appreciated and fulfilled.
This magical place has a true resemblance of who we truly are. And it is embraced in one short word – DISNEY.
Walt Disney himself was the Dreamer like this planet has rarely seen. With his vision of a happier future, he solidified his project known as DISNEYLAND and implemented it, step-by-step, throughout the years to allow anybody to touch, smell, and make the magic happen in the moment we are experiencing it.
Guess what, this year Disneyland is celebrating its DIAMOND ANNIVERSARY – 60 YEARS – of making millions of people the believers in their own power of bringing magic into their own lives. Done with grace and a huge part of IMAGINATION, Walt Disney made one of the boldest calls of the 20th century – Dreamers Are Wanted.
Are you one of those who desire a bit more of pixie dust in your life? If yes, then come on board, follow us to the Magic that exists every day of the year, no matter what the weather is, in a place without the barriers for joy, happiness, and, of course, Magic – DISNEYLAND.
To commemorate the vision provided by Walt Disney, and to increase the numbers of Dreamers, Disneyland is celebrating its Diamond Anniversary with a multitude of Parades, Shows, and Incredible Memorabilia.
Here are some of the most incredible events that will make DISNEY even more memorable in the hearts and minds of its fans.
“Paint the Night” Parade – All-New Electrical Show
Where: Disneyland
When the sun sets down, be sure to stay and see this one-of-a-kind lights parade spectacular with your favorite Disney characters leading the way in their bursting-with-lights floats.
With dazzling light effects, costumes, and choreography, you will feel your smile long after the parade is over.
Created with the help of 1.5 Million brilliant LED lights, the parade leaves a permanent mark in your mind and heart. Take a look at the fact sheet on each float and character that will leave you speechless.
The vibrant music and vivid imagination with which these floats and compositions were created demonstrate Disney’s dedication to keep reinventing something ordinary into something Extraordinary.
The Tinker Bell float is leading the procession of Bell and the Beast, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa, The Little Mermaid, Lightening McQueen, Woody and Slinky, Nemo, with Mickey closing the procession with a great finale of music, shimmering lights, and a stronger seed inside each and every one of us to Dream Big.
“Disneyland Forever” – Fireworks Spectacular!
Where: Disneyland
After the Paint the Night parade disappears around the corner of Main Street, you are yet to be transferred into yet another magical dimension – Disneyland Forever. The fireworks spectacular will grab you by the soul cords and let you hang on one breath of enchantment.
With Nemo swimming to-and-fro in the skies above you, you will be immersed into the Disney tales of all times, watching the characters and scene appear and disappear in the masterfully created technicolor of light projections.
All done with dazzling musical composition, you will experience “Disneyland Forever” theme “Live the Magic,” and the inspiring closing song “A Kiss Goodnight,” written by Disney Legend Richard M. Sherman, and performed by Ashely Brown, the Broadway “Mary Poppins” star.
With a gazillion of special effects, you will be surprised every single moment of the show. One minute you are dancing with King Louie, then traveling “Under the Sea” with the Little Mermaid, then taken into the skies over London with Perter Pan, and dripping in honey with Pooh in a whimsical dream of heffalumps and woozles! You would not want to miss any of that!
This show reignites our dreams inside of us. Calls to remember who we are inside – Dreamers of Our Own Destines.
“World of Color – Celebrate!” Musical Light Show
Where: Disney California Adventures Park
Want more magic in your life? Head over to the night show “World of Color!” Neil Patrick Harris and Mickey Mouse will show their joined effort to entertain the guests to the MAX! All done with colorful and musical projects on water, “World of Color – Celebrate!” presentation brings to life Walt Disney’s remarkable story about the happiest place on Earth.
Animated imagery, fountains, lasers, film, and stirring musical score – the combination of all elements makes it a combustible mixture of happiness and awe.
Hop over into the California Adventures portion of the Disneyland to experience it all first-hand.

I was lucky enough to go to DW Florida twice when I was a child and I’m desperate to take my children now – I’m trying to figure out a way to do it while they are still young enough to “believe” it’s the real character! Planning to go from London (UK) to DW Florida but it’s not easy to fit in around school hols and it’s crazy expensive! looks amazing, I will always remember the first time I saw the light show!

I have never been been to Disney in Cal. I would love to go, but the trip is expensive enough, let alone all the charges to see everything and then hotel expense. I don’t know how anyone can afford to go, let alone see everything. It is amazing l’m sure but also amazely expensive also!,
I couldn’t agree more! We just love Disney! It brings back the child in us and sparks the magic within us that somehow dimmed into life. It’a amazing how Walt Disney achieved it all.
I would LOVE to take my kids and family to Disneyland or Disneyworld but man it is super expensive, time to get saving!
