Last week our Cornish Cat Roma got a truly royal treatment, as he got a ride home in a new Richell pet carrier! Spacious, made of eco-friendly materials, easy to operate. Most importantly, our kitty had such a comfy space to enjoy while being transported in the car!
And here’s the occasion why Roma had to enjoy this ride.
It’s been quite a week here losing our furry baby Cornish Rex Roma who was outside catching a few sun rays and mysteriously disappearing into the nowhere.
The suspect was a loud obtrusive noise from the grass cutting crews that were busy around in the neighborhood and people who spooked the cat from his leisurely nap.
Lucky to all of us, Roma had a chip and a collar for his identification and was reported Found by the animal shelter via automated system.
I took my son to the shelter to have this experience of picking up a found pet and look around at the pets who are lost and housed in the shelter as well. The experience was beyond emotional: both from joy and sadness.
Joy came with the found Roma who recognized us immediately and responded with his loud Myao sound.
Sadness came from the tour I asked the volunteer to give my son and me to see what animals were waiting to be found and/or adopted. Teary indeed. As all of them were ready to fall into our embrace and go home. And doing that was simply impossible.
Our furry baby Roma got home safely in his luxurious Richell pet carrier. And immediately, this double door pet heaven was inspected and smelled and, I think, enjoyed by our other Cornish Rex girl, Fro.

What I simply adore about my Richell eco-friendly pet carrier house is that the surfaces are easily cleaned and disinfected! The surfaces are smooth and non-absorbent. When we brought Roma from a pet shelter, I had to disinfect it all to eliminate any chance of shelter bugs to affect my pets’ health.

This looks like a perfect pet carrier. Great to know that we can clean it easily. But I don’t have pets. I like cats. I think I would get one soon and try this carrier for sure.

I’m so glad you found your pet. That is always a worry when they are missing. I love that carrier and the feature of being able to see the pet from the top is really a great one. It is always great when they are easy to clean.

I love the top opening option on the carrier. Cats can be tricky when it comes to putting them inside.
I’ve had my eye on a few Richell products! I don’t own anything made by Richell yet, but they products are gorgeous and I’ve been meaning to order a few of their things. I love that this carrier has a clear access door at the top, that’s very useful. Obviously a great design!

How scary! Poor Roma was probably very scared to have ventured away from the house. Glad he was found and brought to the shelter to be scanned so you could run and bring him home!
ON a side note it is so important to be careful of the bugs and germs that can get picked up in the shelter environment so that you for mentioning that as I am sure most people wouldn’t have even thought about it.
