I have to admit – when I saw that the latest theme for our Fresh Flavors Swap linky party was savory pumpkin recipes (main dishes, appetizers, sides, and more), I thought it would be a real stretch to find many non-dessert recipes using pumpkin. Before last week, I had never cooked any savory pumpkin dishes and I guess I hadn’t been keeping my eyes open for all the recipes that were out there. These all look amazing. We even had some pumpkin ravioli that was out of this world. I did stock up on cans pf pumpkin because i saw on the news the price might be going up do to lack of good pumpkins this year.

These are wonderful – I am going to take a better look at some – I’ve only used pumpkin for pies, some smoothies, I’ve heard of pumpkin soup and I it is a healthy treat for my dogs. Now I am really inspired! Thank you
