I had a wonderful trip to DreamWorks Studios to meet the Executive Producer Joaquim Dos Santos and Co-Executive Producer Lauren Montgomery, and sit at the round table to chat and ask my endless questions with the voices behind the amazing animation heroes of Voltron: Tyler Labine, Josh Keaton, Rhys Darby, and Kimberly Brooks.

The premise behind Voltron is the power of 5 robotic lions when they can be brought together and form one huge, formidable force called Voltron. Only through the power of genuine teamwork and sincere belief into the power of mind and heart can they form one indestructible force of Voltron.
As these 5 teenagers are being transported from Earth to a sprawling intergalactic intrigue of wars and battles, we learn to love and understand each one of them better. And eventually, you will have your favorite our of the five characters. I know I’ve got mine. Though, there’s a huge learning experience that we, as fans, learn along the way and through the on-screen episodes.
We learn about truth and lies; teamwork and egotistical interests. We are exposed to the nitty-gritty of communication and even misunderstandings among the team as they struggle to form alliances outside their circle.

DreamWorks Voltron Legendary Defender debuts on Netflix June 10, with a special hour-long origin story called “The Rise of Voltron,” followed by 10 episodes.
During our Voltron trip, we had lunch and many interview, meetings with the Voltron “think tank,” its Executive Producers, Cast members and the DreamWorks Studios coordinators. It’s been an informative and learning experience for us all. Of course, we could not leave without a selfie!

We had a chance to preview a few episodes of Voltron. One thing is definite – it’s a killer mix of animation and imaginative story telling that will leave you wanting more of Voltron. It can become addicting. We will see a rise of new super fans of Voltron series who will be hungry for the next new episode. Truly, this animation has the power of the voices and the story as the basis for affecting its viewers in a powerful, emotional way.
This is what it looked like before the pretty cover was laid over the green screen action! We had so much laughter and fun when trying different poses against the green screen!
The Voltron cast and the Executive Producers and bloggers are assuming their poses before their picture is being taken.
Josh Keaton (Shiro) and Tyler Labine (Hunk) are really fun when it comes to selfies! They were taking a ton of pictures with us all. Real people who have a talent of acting and communicating emotions and feelings to us, viewers, through their characters.
