Scooters have evolved a long way since we were kids. One of the features that they acquired is a motor that propels the rider forward. No physical effort is required. Though I am all for physical exercise and health benefits of riding a regular scooter, I do consider these motorized electric scooters a benefit to those families with kids that cannot take them in the car to places they need to go. Obviously, safety rules and routes are in store for those situations.
