Coach Bags Are Rich in History & Offer A Classic Look
Do you know that COACH purses were actually thought up by a man? And the inspiration for a gorgeous COACH purse we know was a… baseball glove. Yes, that old baseball glove that had attributes the current COACH bag carries. Curious to know what you these attributes are?
These attributes include: being made from tan, supple, high quality leather and featuring excellent stitch work and craftsmanship. Don’t we all love our COACH purses for that exactly reason?
The bags were manufactured under the name of Manhattan Leather Bags. And the first COACH bag ever made was under the collection counted only 12 bags!
Designer Bonnie Cashin Brought A New Look for A COACH Handbag
When? In 1963
Success to the COACH bag came with a new outlook to life and fashion by a sports designer Bonnie Cashin. She is the one who brought into Coach design the elements of brass toggle hardware. With her on the team, the company ran its first ad in The New Yorker in 1963.
In 1962, the Coach company hired Bonnie Cashin. Cashin breathed new life into the company. She was considered a pioneer in American sportswear due to her use of industrial hardware and organic materials such as leather, wool and jersey. Cashin is credited with both the brass toggle hardware on Coach bags and the Coach duffle bag. Riding the success of Cashin’s creations, the company ran its first ad in The New Yorker in 1963.
Since then the COACH company has been an amazing inspiration and example of women’s accessories that can be considered a perfect fit for work, for leasure, and for celebrations. Would you like to join those who celebrate COACH every day? We’ve got a beautiful bag for you to enjoy.
Do All COACH Bags Have A Serial Number?
All large COACH bags have an identification, i.e. “serial number,” on a leather patch sewn onto the lining of the purse. Smaller purses like clutches, minis, swingpacks do not have such an authenticity identifier.
What Are Most Popular COACH Styles for Handbags?
COACH Duffle Bag
COACH Duffle bag is one of the most-wanted handbag styles ever! Offered in so many colors and accessories with leather tassels, chained leather tags, and seasonal attributes.
The COACH’s modern and seasonal designer duffle handbags always come with classic, yet so innovative details that I am trilled to “discover” them every time I am shopping for my unique Coach bag.
Originally, a ‘duffle’ bag meant a canvas bag with a string closure. When it comes to a modern interpretation of “duffle,” COACH reinvented it many times by keeping one pace ahead of the societal expectations. That’s COACH!
COACH Slim Satchel
Did you know that Coach was one of the first to design their slim satchel bags for both women and men? Yes, always carrying their one step ahead of everybody else in the industry.
Designed from the point of view of the end user first, COACH’s slim satchel has many interpretations as it speaks to every niche in their own dialect using the right colors, detailing, available accessories and seasonality.

I love wearing boots and scarves this winter they are so cute.
My must have is a good pair of black boots.
I love wearing Hoodies this time of year
My fashion must have is my faux leather jacket – goes with everything!
Hats and gloves are my must haves
Boots! I’m not a big shoe person in general, but I have a few pairs of boots (leather boots, rain boots, and ankle boots). I love them all as they are pretty comfortable, cozy and look way better than tennis shoes.
Here in Utah we have a mix of Fall and Winter at the same time. I just do layers and match my clothes to keep myself warm and stylish at the same time. Love matching my boots, purse, scarf and beanie! Gotta stay on the latest trend. Right?! 🙂
Hand lotion, tic tac gum, umbrella, scarf, gloves and of course my phone.
My fall must haves are boots, sweaters, a great coat and a beautiful bag.
Great prize!
Fall & Winter are sweater weather. I can’t wait until the air turns colder and we get out our sweaters.
To me fall always meant sweater weather, therefore i Always buy a new sweater or three.
I keep lip balm and gloves handy – an extra sweater/sweatshirt is also always in the car for those quick weather drops in temperatures.
I’m afraid that the closest I can come to fashion tips are, where what you like, and feels comfortable. If pressed, I might add try not to embarrass those with you TOO much.
I love to wear boots and scarves.
love sweaters, boots and matching purse
I like to have a great pair of boots for winter!
Over sized sweatshirts and lip gloss.
warm sweaters and boots
my lipstick and purse
I have two faux suede (washable) jackets–one light brown and one deep chocolate. I dress them up and dress them down–mix and match with all kinds of colors and prints. Matching shoes, boots, and bags, of course!
My fall must haves are vests. We just now are finally getting much cooler temperatures thetefore heavy sweaters and thick scarves are just not needed but maybe a handful of times during winter. But a vest does well and I love the variety of styles now.
I love to wear comfortable, soft legging along with a long shirt and a sweater. 😉
I would love to have a coach handbag.
My must haves are sunglasses, bottled water, jeans, sweaters and cute boots.

Wallet, lipstick, compact w/mirror, brush, sunglasses, keys & cell phone
I don’t have any special plans for Fall. I like the colored leaves and cool, crisp air!
Easy and cool comfortable pieces like cotton or linen, since I’m in the humid south, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug repellent, sweatproof makeup like Colorescience with SPF 50. Lots of iced tea and pretty nailpolish and toepolish! I tend to lean towards navy, baby blue, and mint green colors at this time if year, because they seem to feel cooler, but love bright cheerful tones and florals as well! In a hurry, a quick swipe of waterproof mascara and eyeliner and bright lipstick is all it takes.
wowza
Sweet contest .Entering to win for the wife ?
I always have lip gloss, mascara & face wipes.
Living in Arkansas I’m afraid our Springs don’t last very long. They’re very warm towards the end. And the Summers are scorching. I think if there were a fashion tip I’d give is probably make sure you have plenty of sun dresses as sun screen.
Sounds good to me!
I like to accessorize with pretty scarves and jewelry.
For spring I start getting out the light weight tank tops & I still wear my light weight leggens I still get cold mostly at night until it gets a lot colder ! I like my purples, pinks, yellows, blues!!

Scarves. They are a must for adding some color, changing the look of an outfit, or keeping my neck from getting a chill. I love scarves. Spring and Summer scarves are very fun with tulips designs popping with spring colors or polka dots or sheer fabric.
I like to get out my shorts and t-shirts in spring and go for light colors.

I wear what is comfortable throughout the day
I really don’t have a fashion tip … at my age I wear what I like and feel good in
Dress comfotably for the day and wear layers in colder weather.
Be comfortable in what you are wearing is my best tip. If you don’t feel comfortable it will come across in your self confidence and you won’t look as good. I for instance would never wear a ruffled anything, it’s just not my style and I’m not comfortable in it.
Dress sensibly but cool in the summer.
I don’t like getting hot and sticky, so my favorite thing to do is to take a quick shower, drip dry a bit, and then put my clothes back on – I feel refreshed and I stay cool for a bit.
Lip gloss, Sun hat, and coin purse!
I live in the South, and there is no such thing as too much sunscreen.
