Silly old bear by the name Winnie the Pooh will still your breath and win over you one time more in this new Disney movie CHRISTOPHER ROBIN.
This film presents so many insights into the life of a grown-up individual that there’s no denying the fact that we all fall victim to modern progress: overworked, apart from family and friends, and putting off things that are truly important in life as if we could get to them later.
With Christopher Robin all grown up and working corporate England, Director Marc Forster takes us on a super emotional journey into one man’s life. Like everybody else around him, he is providing for the family. His career took over not only his time at his job, but all his time, keeping him away from the family and things that he used to love to do. Growing apart from his wife Evelyn Robin (Hayley Atwell), daughter Madeline (Bronte Carmichael), Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) finds himself lost in the world as he lives it.
And there wouldn’t be Christopher Robin without POOH and his friends. Only this time, Winnie the Pooh makes an audacious attempt to cross into a human world and reach out to Christopher Robin from the long gone childhood. To use POOH’s language and his eloquent Pooh quote:
“You can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.” – POOH
The movie has been very emotional for me. Not once or twice, in its entirety. The truths spoken in simple POOH quotes and acted out with determined kindness would melt any frozen fortresses and pull anybody into the better state of things. Take your entire family to see this magical and transformative movie with the characters from your childhood. Allow yourself to feel again and open up to accept others in your life. Reach out and re-connect with those who are by your side first. Then expand your circle of family and friends with whom you feel connected and “right at home.”
The Red Carpet for the CHRISTOPHER ROBIN World Premiere took place on a unique Disney Studios lot where the guests and film creators gathered to celebrate the beloved Winnie the Pooh legacy. Take a look at the many activities and highlights at the movie’s Red Carpet event that I gathered to share with you all.

During my interview with Ewan McGregor, we learned about how the movie was filmed, about the intricacies of green screen acting, and what Winnie the Pooh and other plush toy characters looked like during the filming process. The stories are hilarious and show the talent you need to be to act in front of “nothing.” Though, as POOH may say “nothing could lead to something.”
Pooh Quotes Are My Favorite Reminders
About Many Things
The CHRISTOPHER ROBIN movie is the very movie that makes us feel every step of the way. It is not just moments of emotional ups or downs. It is a uniquely directed drama of everyday life to affect our complex feelings and emotions. Marc Forster, the Director, mentioned in his interview with us that the movie is a timely one for us all to wake up and reconnect with our true selves and people in our lives.
POOH is adored and loved by everyone. His simple wisdom quotes are of love and friendship and honey, of course! Here are some of my favorite POOH quotes that touch me deeply every single time I re-read them. Here they are Winnie Pooh quotes about life, adventure, friendship and love.
“People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day” – POOH
“If you live to be a hundred,
I want to live to be a hundred minus one day,
So I never have to live without you.”
Piglet: “How do you spell ‘love’?”
Pooh: “You don’t spell it…you feel it.”
“Love is taking a few steps backward, maybe even more…to give way to the happiness of the person you love.”
“I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.”
“People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.”
“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart”
“We’ll be friends forever, won’t we, Pooh?” asked Piglet.
“Even longer,” answered Pooh
“You can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
“Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.”
“What day is it?”
“It’s Today!” squeaked Piglet.
“My Favorite Day,” said Pooh.
“I was wrong about work. I was wrong about everything. And I’ve got to get back to my family,” Christopher Robin.
