  63. I do my school shopping where and when I can. I am an unschooling mom to two teens. This year we still need to do more shopping. I’ve managed to pick up the Spanish lessons and the French lessons so far. Teaching the kids two languages, possibly 3, if I can find more books on American Sign Language. This would be helpful.

  66. I would LIKE to be able to school shop for my child at Staples or office max, but usually its slim pickins at the dollar tree :(, my son starts school on Monday and we have managed to get NOTHING for him ugh!

  73. I think we shop mostly at Walmart but my wife occasionally buys things online if she’s trating the kids to something unique that they like specifically.

  77. I usually do my school supply shopping at Walmart or where ever has the best deals. Clothes shopping I tend to look for great deals thru Kohls or JcPenneys. Walmart tends to end up costing the same or more for their clothes and so I shop around and get the best deals I can find. That is what I have to do as a single parent of 3. lol

    1. sorry, I pushed submit too soon. I like to do back to school shopping at Walmart. I know that’s not super fun but I found everything I needed in one place. Except a Kindermat, I had to go to Target for that. I do love Target too.

  97. I do my back to school shopping wherever the sales take me! I usually end up at Dollar Tree, Walgreens, and Walmart at some point! With 3 kids, I need to do it as cheaply as possible! =)

  99. I do my back to school shopping where I find the best deals…anywhere from thrift stores to department stores and anything in between!

  102. I vary where I do shopping depending on where is the cheapest place. Unfortunately we don’t have a walmart for about an hour and a half, so its usually a lesser known store. Never forget the dollar store has awesome finds!

  105. in a spiral notebook either pasted in it or taped in it and dedicated to my two girls for when i’m gone.

  116. I love office stores like staples and office max. They are always having GREAT deals. I stock up a little at a time cause each week something different is on sale 🙂

  135. Organize? Hmmm…I think that might be a misnomer in my case! I have a pile of written/printed recipes on the under-cabinet book holder. It works for me! 🙂

  136. I have a couple ways and they are really organized: I’m starting on Pinterest,They are completely catagorized in my file box and now I am doing something with those I’ve taken from magazines.Oh I forgot that I’m starting to use the computer for it too!

  137. I don’t really! They are just piled up in a cabinet and I have to dig through them! LOL

  138. I have many folders with my favorite recipes in them, including my grandmothers recipes.

  139. I currently use a small three subject notebook to organize recipes. There are pockets at each divider that I stuff printed recipes in, if they are really good I write them down in the book.

  141. i keep my recipes in a recipe box, but my favorites are on a cork board mounted on the inside door of my pantry.

  145. I have recipes (and cookbooks) everywhere… on my computer, on the PS3, on recipe cards in a box, on cards and clippings in a binder and on shelevs inserted in cookbooks. :/ I keep meaning to get them all organized (one of these days)…

  153. Let’s see..some are stuffed into this big plastic Recipe Box, some are in binders, some are in a folder, and some are shoved into other cookbooks. I definately need to take a day to try and get things straightened out. LOL

  155. I would hesitate to call my recipes organized. I have some in a recipe box, some in a notebook, some on the computer and some in a plastic box.

  156. I have my grandmother’s old notebooks with everything handwritten in it from her and her mother. I’ve added my own favorites but I still don’t know how to preserve it all for my daughter. I love seeing my grandmother’s handwriting in the notebooks but they won’t last forever like that.

      This is so awesome you have a generation-led cookbook at your finger tips!
      Try to Photocopy it and preserve in the electronic format for your daughter to see what her grandma used to write in her recipe book!

  160. I still have lots of cookbooks but my favorites are in my head. When I want to try something new, there is always the internet. How did we ever live without the internet???

  165. My sister made me a cookbook several years ago, My most recent finds are stored in a woven basket on a shelf on my microwave stand.

  166. i put my recipes i want to try in a notebook so that all correction to the spices can be change to suit our taste

  168. I put all my favourites in a folder that I used for home -ec classes when I was in high school, I still even cook the same recipes from all those years ago!

  176. I have several ways, Pinterest, 3×5 cards, and several recipe books. Then I always resort to online for more inspiration. 😀

  180. I post them to an album on Facebook and have a falling apart notebook with the rest.

  184. I have my go to favs tucked inside my fav cookbook. I have the others on a shelf in binders and folders in by book library.

  186. My recipes are all in a drawer, scattered without much organization- Which is bad when I actually need one LOL

  187. My favorite recipes are in an index card box. The recipes I get out of magazines are stuffed into my few favorite cookbooks.

  188. I just google what I want to cook. Now days, you can find everything you ever needed on the internet. I have one little binder with a few heirloom recipes that I have not found, yet, on internet. I use them to enter recipe contests. Soon, they will be all on the web, too.

  200. I have a file in my inbox than I keep email recipes I get…the rest are just everywhere! LOL!!

  201. My mother in law gave me a great big book of her recipes and it had blank pages that I add mine in. I also hand write them on index cards and save them in a cabinet, like my Grandma use to, in hope that they will be special to someone.

  204. Just a plain alphabetized wooden recipe box that my grandmother gave me years ago. It was her mothers, lots of sentimental value.

  229. I have a binder for ones to try, a book I write the best ones in that I have made and a large zip lock bag full of others!

  230. I organize my recipes by throwing them all in a cupboard and then having a nightmare every time I want to find one! I need a scanner so that I can scan directly on to recipe cards!

  235. I have a notebook with handwritten recipes, a binder with printed recipes in page protectors and a couple small drawers with unorganized recipes =)

  239. I currently organize my recipes by putting them on the fridge, in drawers etc. Actually I rarely use my recipe box as I keep forgetting I have it.

  240. I have my recipes stored in a card box and have them all written on cards and the magazine pages witch have been ripped out are folded up in there as well. 🙂

  247. Ummm I don’t lol they are everywhere! a file in my desk, on a 6ft bookcase (all cookbooks) notebooks here and there, post its, index cards. I REALLY need to get organized!

  252. I have a plastic recipe card holder for my index card recipes, and for my larger recipe cards, I have a plastic open case & they are organized by sweets, meats, breakfasts, etc.

  256. My recipes are half written in a recipe book and other half of paper slips/torn out recipes from magazines are placed in that recipe book. I do need to get organized!
