In a small town where things seldom changed and the “American Dream” was something that happened to others, Coach White and the town of McFarland, USA showed the world that Mark Twain was right when he said, “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.”

Here’s what Fernando Reza shared when interviewed about his opportunity to work on the Disney’s McFarland project.
“The thing about McFarland, USA that stood out to me from a visual stand point is how beautifully it’s shot. The skylines at different times of day, wether its the kids getting up at dawn to pick, or them running as the sun is setting, the outdoor scenes are stunning.
The movie takes this very personal and inspiring story and gives it a really epic quality. And their story definitely lives up to it; their work ethic, their commitment, it’s really amazing.”
“Another component of the project that was a lot of fun was getting a chance to design the artwork for Juanes’ new single “Juntos.” The song was actually written for the movie and suits it perfectly. I wanted to stick to the same general style but still give it a rock album cover feel.”
