Ingredients

  • ¾ cup butter room temperature
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup toffee bits like in Heath Bits O'Brickle
  • 1 cup M&M Green and Red Holiday Edition
  • Powdered sugar for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease cookie sheets well with butter or ghee.

  2. In a large bowl, beat up butter and sugar.

  3. Add to the bowl Light Corn Syrup, egg, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract – continue to beat this mixture up incorporating ingredients into the recipe.

  4. Add gradually flour to the bowl as you are carefully incorporating it into the liquid ingredients.

  5. As a final step, add your toffee bits and M&M's. Mix well.

  6. Using a tablespoon, scoop up some dough, roll between the palms of your hands, and carefully press the ball into a flat cookie. Do not make it too thin, though.

  7. Fill the cookie sheet with raw cookies, place them into the heated oven, cook for about 12-14 minutes.

  8. FYI: Your cookies will be light in color when ready.

  9. Cook the cookies on a wire rack.

  10. Use powdered sugar to decorate the cooled cookies.

  11. You are ready for Celebration!
