If you have ever had one of those our-of-this-world experiences, The Hollywood Red Carpet is one of them. The excitement, the feeling, the visual stimulants are way above average! They are causing you to walk on cloud nine and take in every breath, every glance to the deepest level of existence.

The Jungle Book World Premiere
The Jungle Book Red Carpet World Premiere was one of those breathtaking, unforgettable, colorful experiences .
To get to watch The Jungle Book World Premiere, every single person had to have this magical ticket – the key to enter the Red Carpet parade.
Interesting FACT: The Cast of the movie, its producers, makers, directors – all were sitting among the audience, rather than placed together like we usually see in big events. This is a tradition of the El Capitan premieres to allow guests and movie colleagues to enjoy the company of the actors in the movie.
Before the Red Carpet premiere, we had an unprecedented opportunity to talk and interview the voices behind the movie’s characters: Sir Ben Kingsley (Bagheera, the panther), Neel Sethie (Mowgli, our hero “man cub”), Lupita Nyong’o (Raksha, mother-wolf), Giancarlo Esposito (Akela, leader of the wolf pack), and Jon Favreau, the Director of The Jungle Book. All the interviews and pictures will be coming soon later in the week.
The road to the Red Carpet event was a huge fun. The excitement was uncapped. The selfies were dominant. And the smiles from our team and people outside illuminated our way to the El Capitan Theatre.
We are all familiar with the Mowgli story. We grew up either reading or watching it. This epic story by Rudyard Kipling was told and retold in many formats, yet this time, you are up for a huge surprise that will change your perception of this story in a new, untold way. Thanks to the limitless creativity of Jon Favreau, the Director of the movie, and an absolute cream-of-the-crop acting and voice talent, the action in the movie was amplified and turned into a masterpiece classic by the Dolby Sound and Dolby Images technology. This time, we will celebrate human achievement in tech and creativity to transform people’s lives through the movie-going experience.
The cast, the creative talent, the Disney officials – all gathered for the Red Carpet World Premiere of The Jungle Book at El Capitan, April 4, 2016.
Neel Sethi, Mowgli, is one of the genuinely gifted boys who exudes poise and childhood playfulness during our press meeting and the Red Carpet. He was surrounded by family and friends. It was an amazing scene to see his parents’ faces being lit up with the love and pride for their child to having accomplished something like playing a role of Mowgli in the feature film by Disney. I am sincerely excited for this young man’s success on a big screen. Wishing him good sails and winds of support along the way.
Another exciting voice you will hear in the movie is of Lupita Nyong’o, the Oscar Winner and the voice for Raksha, the mother of the wolf pack. What this actress was able to communicate through her voice comes from her cultural background and social network she was able to develop during her childhood and adult life. Stay tuned for the interview and story about Lupita Nyong’o and her experience while making The Jungle Book.
Sir Ben Kingsley is my legend in the acting world. The interview we had with him had brought deeper understanding of his acting career and his personal aspirations as a person. You may remember his role as Mohandas Gandhi in the movie GANDHI for which he won his Oscar. This amazing actor brings his life’s experiences and personal view of the world when Kipling wrote his book into The Jungle Book movie. Stay tuned for our breathtaking press event with his participation.
Who doesn’t know Giancarlo Esposito? To those of us who are fond of the AMC series Breaking Bad, we know this actor as Gus Fring. To tell you the truth, I did not know what to expect from our meeting with him. During the conversation with him, he revealed what a great and active father and a creative thinker and doer he is. With kids and his own production company, he has his hands full. Listen to his voice of Akela, the leader of a wolf pack, in The Jungle Book movie.
The Red Carpet was bustling with celebrities, the people who were actively involved in the making of The Jungle Book, and those who came to watch and support their colleagues at the World Premiere of the movie. Ritesh Rajan, ABC Family series Stitchers, has landed his voice to Mowgli’s father in the movie. So, he was on the Red Carpet with us, too!
The time between the arrival of the guests and celebrities to the World Premiere of The Jungle Book flew very fast. We could talk and take pictures with the celebrities. We could take a million of selfies to capture each moment of the magical night. The people, their titles, their relationship to the movie – all blended into one big joyous celebration at the historical place – the El Capitan Theatre.
