A Holiday Season is for many different things. We do enjoy family-and-friends get-togethers, neighbor cookie exchange. What I really celebrate during this festive season is my personal reflection of life, of myself, my dreams, and where I am in this particular moment in time. God Bless the Broken Road is yet another movie by Director Conrad Cronk who offers us different points of view on faith. This movie was inspired by a soft rock song with Christian connotation.
A single mom who receives a message that her husband has perished in Afghanistan feels the God has let her down. She is left alone to raise her young daughter. It is this walk between what we expect of God and the God’s plans for us in this life that this woman is struggling to reconcile from within.
When your spouse, your partner, your friend, your everything in life has been taken away from you and your family, it is a formidable task to make sense of it all.
This movie had a small budget. All scenes were shot in the U.S. The message for those who are seeking other examples of how people deal with losses in their lives is compelling.

This looks like a great movie! I love the title. I lost my dad this year, so I imagine this might be hard to watch. I still want to sit down and watch it one day though.
