Alexander III, an ancient Greek King, would wear a girdle while in battle that was embedded with a beautifully bright chrysoprase stone. He was known as one of the best AND most successful military commanders in all of Greek history! As the story goes, Alexander was bathing one day and a serpent bit off the stone which then fell into the Euphrates River. After losing the stone, Alexander never won another battle!

The flat, rectangular cylindric shaped chrysoprase stone measures approximately 3/4 to 1/2 inch by 1 7/8 inch long. Designer, Lexi Butler, used a very simplistic copper wrap technique around the light green stone to draw the focus on the beauty of the stone itself.
The 22-inch long stunning necklace is accented with Swarovski crystals, 6 mm light green new jade beads, and copper daisy spacers.
Incorporated in the 4 mm copper antique rollo chain are symbols of the circle of life.
