Sugar Free Tomato Sauce

Easy homemade recipe for a no sugar added tomato sauce that is perfect for any vegetarian or meat meal. Or if you want, you can use it as a dip, too.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crushed tomatoes store-bought, 14 oz each can
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • Black ground pepper to taste
  • 1-2 packets stevia

Instructions

  1. Put ingredients into a pot and simmer for about 15 minutes.

  2. Stir the mixture in the pot during the simmering. Add a bit of water if you want the sauce a bit looser.

  3. Serve it onto your pasta, zucchini pasta, hot dogs and hamburgers and anything where you would celebrate this amazing tomato flavor.

  4. You can freeze the leftovers for up to 4 months.
