Quinoa Recipe for Gorgeous Skin and Weight Loss

Ingredients

  • ½ cucumber sliced
  • 1 bell pepper any variety: red, yellow, orange, green sliced
  • 2 scallions chopped
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • ¾ cups frozen peas may substitute for fresh peas
  • 1 Tbsp light soy sauce
  • ¼ cup pine nuts may substitute for crushed or sliced almonds
  • ½ cup red or white cabbage chopped or sliced
  • 4 cups quinoa cooked
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh greens for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook quinoa for about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside in a bowl. Allow it to cool.

  2. Chop and slice all remaining vegetables. Add them to the bowl with quinoa.

  3. Add peas, soy sauce, sea salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Combine all ingredient with a nice mixing movement.

  5. Garnish with pine nuts or crushed almonds. Squeeze lemon juice over the salad.

  6. Serve to enjoy all the fresh flavors and know that you are eating for glowing skin, good digestion and, ultimately, for your healthy weight.
