What is the UnDiet Project
And How Can You Contribute?
Thank you for considering to contribute to The UnDiet Project™.
To help you better understand the Project, and to help us figure out the best way to utilize your unique abilities, here is a summary of what we are doing, why, and some ideas of what we are looking for. Our hope is that this fits comfortably with you we can have a further 1:1 communication to see if we can find a mutually agreeable working arrangement.
Who Are We?
We started in this industry as the purchasers of a major fitness center in 1989. We began a weight loss program, tied to a fitness program. Since then, we have been continuously involved in the weight loss industry, best known as product developers for a large number of different companies (some of which you have heard of, some are in direct sales, and some of which are in retail places like Walmart) both in the US and globally.
We have also had intensive and ongoing research into the peer-reviewed science on weight loss. We look at both the causes of weight gain and what works in weight loss. Our intellectual property in weight loss includes a unique Metabolic Cycle Map tracing the causes of weight gain, how that progresses into various lifestyle diseases (heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and some forms of cancer). Our Chronic Disease chart, blood sugar control graphs, other unique graphics are based on years of research in scientific literature. We document everything based upon what is known and provable, and what is not. This leads us far away from fads, hype, and pseudo-science.
Purpose of the Project:
To create an inventory of weight loss related information, in a wide variety of formats. We will deliver it as daily messages to online subscribers.
What is the UnDiet Project™?
Anyone trying to lose more than a few pounds knows it can take months to lose excess weight. And be on constant vigilance to keep it off. Most have been on a half dozen diets or more. Many can’t run 100 feet, let alone 100 yards. nearly all get discouraged, and lack confidence in themselves in this crucial area of their lives. It is very difficult for them to keep their spirits up and stay focused. They also get confused as to what to do, day-to-day, after they exit their most recent weight loss program. And it is exceedingly easy for them to fall back onto lifestyle patterns that sabotage their weight loss/no re-gain goals.
The UnDiet Project jumps into this universal situation. It provides information to individuals who need to not only lose weight, but keep it off, no matter the program they may have used, or are using. It sends them UnDiet information daily, at various times. It provides them focus, accurate information, motivation, affirmations, and various resources to help them stay on track each and every day. Our job is to provide them parallel information, alongside what they are already doing.
The Project’s goal is to provide information that feeds their minds, dis-spirited hearts, and flagging spirits. To accomplish that goal we want to provide a wide range of information, in a variety of formats, from a wide variety of credible sources — you — and deliver it into their hands daily.
If you would like to contribute to the success of UnDieters, keep reading. There is a little more you need to know.
What we are NOT:
We are not a diet. We do not publish “tips” type of information. We do not endorse any of the commercial weight loss programs nor products out there. We occasionally critique various weight loss programs and products within the context of their effectiveness based on the science, or their influence on keeping weight loss from becoming weight re-gain. That is a small part of what we do. We also occasionally show how to use the UnDiet principles in parallel with weight loss products.
Some Key Legal Parameters:
The UnDiet Project will own the work you submit, unless it has been previously copyrighted or commercially published. In that case we will ask you to grant a license for it. We compensate differently for previously published work, versus original work created just for this Project. We retain the right to publish all paid-for content in whatever form we decide.
Depending on our conversation with you, your content may, or may not, include attribution to you. It may or may not include links to your websites, blogs, books, podcasts, music, or other online properties, depending on what we agree upon. Your content may be given away as a promotion, or sold as part of a package of UnDiet information.
This is not an employment offer. We only pay for content on a per-piece basis. You will not receive a royalty. As a small company, we generally pay between $25-$100 per submission. We prefer 5-10 submissions per person. For exceptional or unusual content we may choose to purchase more than 10 submissions per person, or just one or two. Let’s talk about what you have, and how deeply involved you want to be.

In that email, specify which of these below you feel you can contribute valuable information to the project. Remember, our target audience, as noted above…no hack squats and no 500 calorie a day diets. Read carefully what we are aiming to do, and adjust your contributions to what our audience needs…what they are really capable of at this point in their life.

For us to evaluate your work, tell us a little about yourself, why you want to get involved, and also provide links to your work. Or provide a pdf or e-mailable samples of it to the email address noted above/below.
Once we evaluate your material, we will get back with you on the specifics for each subject, the formats we need it in, and the compensation. Please note that we will not maintain or use anything you submit for evaluation.
