Don’t you love those random acquaintances that happen on a playground or places you go? I love meeting new people and learning from them. Frequently, such “playground conversations” lead me to work on some ideas and implement them into my life. Sometimes, I find people who become good friends just because we started a conversation while our children were playing.
Recently a young woman approached me on the playground, and we started our conversation about kids, life, and everything that fills our days.
She shared that her child suffered from allergies and how challenging it was to create a home environment that would be more supportive of her toddler’s needs. To eliminate as much allergens and irritants as possible, she eliminated all plastics tableware, switched to reusable organic lunch bags, and completely refurbished her toddler’s room.
One of the things she changed in her baby’s life was the type of furniture she was using. She found the company that manufactured formaldehyde free furniture out of recycled paper products. I got really interested in that part! Lots of questions to ask:
• Is the furniture as sturdy as its counterparts built out of wood?
• Is it practical and fashionable?
• Is it really safe?
To my surprise, my personal investigation of the facts about Way Basics furniture left me happy with what I learned. Check this out what their products, made out of recycled paper, boast of:
• Sustainable as it uses recycled paper
• Toxin Free – No Formaldehyde of VOC
• Light and colorful
• Has zero added impact on landfills
All of the above are crucial facts for me, so I decided to test one product by Way Basics by requesting a sample.
After I got this wonderful blue storage bench, it was assembled in 3 minutes, no kidding! Even my four-year-old could lift it! The color is so vibrant and so suitable for any children’s room.
What I also enjoy about the Way Basics furniture pieces that they could be combined into ensembles or sets to create that unique atmosphere for your home, especially for your child’s place of play and study. One bench could be used for multiple purposes: both for storage and as a table or a bench.
The storage piece is sturdy and durable. The building blocks are made out of zBoards, a patented board that uses recycled paper as its main ingredient.
Going back to my initial conversation with that woman on the playground, I truly saw all the benefits her child has received from all the changes she made in his life. And one big change was switching to a non-toxic furniture made by Way Basics. Their products do not release any irritants or formaldehyde gas into the air, as they use only water-based glues and are environmentally friendly and recyclable.
That I really love!
Switching to eco-friendly products like lunch bags and furniture can truly bring more health into our lives. Start your steps towards a non-toxic lifestyle and home environment with basic changes in what you eat, breath, wear.
