I like a good experiment, especially when my little kiddo is interested and helping out!

We cetebrated our Christmas eve tonight with my kids and the husband. I am more calm this year when it comes to preparing things. I have no more things to ask. Just to be with the family. Awesome giveaway.
Wishing I wasn’t such a klutz ….fell and bashed my good knee which was just the beginning to several things going wrong. Keeping the faith though! Getting ready to go to midnight mass

We’re as ready as we can be. This year we set a budget a stuck to it by not taking any extra with us when we went shopping. It was good to not feel stressed about over spending.

We are as ready as we can be. But we still have to wrap it is 9:13 and my boys are wide awake. Hubby did not wait until tomorrow to open the xbox w/ kinnect so he and my oldest are having fun.

I made 1 batch of cookies and 1 cake instead of 5 batches of cookies and 1 cake and 2 pies, lol , wayyyy easier.

I am pretty much ready. We all moved down to the Gulf coast from New England in June, so just the weather alone makes it seem different. I’m wearing flip-flops in stead of wool socks and boots! 🙂

This holiday season is about reflection of the year passing and what we are blessed with, instead of the commercialism of what we don’t have and what we don’t need. It’s an unexpected amazing experience.
I just finished up going to the grocery store. For the first time I have everything in its place. My Daughters are wrapping everything (that is a gift for me) and I am looking forward to the grand kids and the older children to come over tonight and for dinner tomorrow. For the first time in 18 years, I get to be a guest on Christmas eve and Christmas Day! In the past I hosted up to 60 family members. But after years of no help and no thanks, I said it was someone else’s turn.

I am completely ready for Christmas as we don’t make a big deal of it. Each of my daughters will get a couple of gifts, but that is really all we do. We spend the day at my parents’ house, so there isn’t much for me to do.
I still need to get candy for stockings!
No not ready, but not likely going to be able to do anymore – I only have a gift for 2 of the grandkids I will be with, so may not take them so the others won’t feel left out, same with the gifts for my own “babies”. Many health issues this year so money has been tighter than usual. But I do have a standing house, power, mobility, and food to eat – right now there are many in our own country (US) who do not have these things. So yes, I am ready to celebrate our Lord’s birth! Merry Christmas!

I am done thank goodness. All gifts wrapped and ready yo go. Most of my cookies are baked going to finish up the sugar cookies tomorrow. I shopped online and stayed away from crazy crowded malls as much as possible 🙂 Hope everyone has a happy merry Christmas!

I feel like I really screwed the pooch this year:( we have been so busy……with EVERYTHING! I got the last of my gifts tonight , and put up a 4ft tree! I am usually not this ill prepared.

I’m ready for Christmas as I have to be. We did not have any money for gifts, other than one present for each grandchild. We did not exchange gifts this year. My husband lost his job due to the company just closed with no good warning. So now no Christmas dinner and no gifts. We have each other and I’m happy we have food and a roof !!!! Merry Christmas to everyone here. This Christmas we didn’t have the money for gifts, but I’m doing a big dinner here and have a lot coming. I also made cookies and candy-enough that they can all take some home. so it’s not the end of the world without presents. Next year will be better. I’m learning to do surveys online and hope to earn enough that till next December I’ll have a chunk to buy presents. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!
