Every day someone around you needs help. It could be any kind of help, ranging from giving a lift to a nearby medical clinic or watching a child for a couple of hours; asking for a missing ingredient in the recipe or asking for advice about some life’s situation.
It does not make a difference if that ASK is of global proportion or as big as two handfuls of unbleached flour. What does a difference though is a sense of community, as secure sense and knowledge that other people are out there to help and support you no matter what.
THAT what truly matters and brings us closer as people, as neighbors, as friends.
This is why The Village Project was created with the mission of Giving Back And Making a Difference.
The Village Project program is aimed at helping women and children in the U.S. from all walks of life with whatever situation they’re trying to resolve.
In addition to helping the everyday families, The Village Project sponsors various community activities and charities to help mothers and children in need – including those living in homeless and women’s shelters.
Kelly McKnight, co-founder of Mothers Organic and who is involved in Village Project, put it so elegantly of what they’re doing every day of their lives:
“There are so many Mothers here at home in the United States that need our help. So many children who still do not have the everyday common necessities, such as clothing, food and diapers. It is our duty as people to give back. Our duty as fellow Mothers to extend a helping hand when another Mother is in need.”

i like it that it helps mothers and childern. help each other build a better future for those in need and our children.
i love that it involved helping others and anyone can get involved. it represents hope
Love that it helps Mothers and children that would otherwise not have anyone which sometimes makes them have to stay in a bad situation.
It helps those in need. Pay it Forward
It really dos take a village to raise a child. Kids are influenced from everyone around them
Everyone could use a hand.
I am extremely impressed by this project. I believe it brings together the absolute needs to bring communities together thereby creating a solid base for health and hope.
i love their motto that it takes a village to raise a child because that couldnt be more true….when our children are not at home they are influence by others so its important as a community to look out for our childrens best interest…i like that they help those in need also
I like that they help the homeless
I like that the Village Project program is aimed at helping women and children with whatever situation they’re trying to resolve. It also supports communities.
i like the fact that they are aimed at helping women and children in the U.S. from all walks of life with whatever situation they’re trying to resolve. My mother was a single mother and I know how hard it was for her then.
I like that they recognize the fact mothers need help with the little things also
I like that the program provides help within the community.
I love that the project was created to help people.
What a fantastic program! So many women stay in unhealthy unsafe situations because they think/know that leaving means homelessness, joblessness, hunger, and poverty, not only for themselves but for their children as well. They stay with horrible men because the alternative seems so much worse. I love that the Village Project will help these women and children have options and not feel like they are imprisoned in their situation.
i think what they are doing is awesome. helping others in need is what we all should try to do if we can. its great to know that organizations like this exist.
I like that it helps women, mothers, and children in need.
I live that it helps people to not feel “so Alone” in this world
They help families living in homeless and women’s shelters right here in the US. Which is important since there are so many here even in better parts who need help or just a leg up.
I like that it helps for all situations. A mom may be able to feed her family but not buy clothing and vice versa. They will help with whatever that mom may need and not just in one specific area.
i like how it helps the homeless
I love that it helps people!
It is helping mothers and kids!
I love how the program doesnt specify who it helps. It just helps regardless. That is definitely inspiring.
I love that they help people with all kinds of problems
I like that mothers are helping other mothers. Hopefully, people will ” pay it forward ” when they are able and help someone else.
I love the Village Project because it helps women and their children with needs and cares about their well-being.
I love that the Village project helps people in need and shows that it cares about people.
