I had a great workout this morning. To be able to move my body is a huge weight loss motivation that inspires me daily!
Every day, I get up and head over to the gym to contribute some good-feeling exhaustion to my physical body.
Every time my focus slides to the thought of ‘How much our body can do when we allow it,’ a warm fuzzy feeling of gratitude flows throughout my soul.
When we are young and far from being inundated with information that disagrees on many grounds, we are naturally exercising our right to run and enjoy a physical movement via games and interaction with our peers.
Becoming older naturally brings on different value systems that each child acquires based on the environment she or he grows within. Some value systems encourage active physical activity in a growing individual throughout the whole life. Some don’t put any value on it at all.
In majority of cases, the outcome is not only sad. It is TRAGIC.
More than 2/3 of our country’s population is overweight or obese!
Everybody is looking for a morning pill to cure this “infection” of immobility. But we are talking about immobility of minds, more than immobility of out bodies – though, the latter follows the former.
We do not just grow incapable to exert our physical bodies in a joyous exercise routine. That simply is NOT true. Our bodies are eager to take us to the heights of pleasure and gift us with more energy, more muscle definition, more efficient functioning of all body organs and systems and so much more.
Movement Is Life
What do you need to do to benefit all of the above? Simple as day and night. Allow yourself to move.
To “Move” as in “Walking.”
To “Move” as in “Running.”
To “Move” as in “Biking.”
To “Move” as in “Swimming.”
To “Move” as in “Hiking” + A Million other ways.
Start with something doable every day. Allow your body to show you a Miracle that you are.
Allowances are a good thing when they are put towards your physical, mental, emotional well-being.
Imagine yourself running and feeling Free!
Free from any constraints that we artificially impose on our bodies, minds, souls.
That’s how I felt when I was working out this morning at the gym, focusing on every muscle, every fiber of my soul that want me to feel happiness and joy of this earthly life.
That made me truly Thankful for my body allowing me to do simple things that raise my heart rate and keep me going and sharing the joys of life with people around me.
