I am so glad I went with a non-traditional wedding before Pinterest went big; I don’t think I could afford the craziness that weddings have become since then! They are all so beautiful though!

Wedding shoes were a toughy! Heels always end in barefoot nights

It’s funny you should write about this because my boyfriend and I are starting to talk about marriage and weddings. We still want to wait a little bit longer but it’s crazy that we’re actually thinking about it and it’s even crazier my friends are getting engaged and married seemingly one by one!
You are correct. It is important to be prepared…. it will make you feel.calm on the big day.

My wife found her wedding dress instantly. i mean it, It was the first dress she wore and I was shocked it only took her a half hour to find!
Every girl and woman deserves the perfect dress! My friends thought the amount I spent on my prom dress was outrageous, but it was a special night and I deserved to feel beautiful!
Those dresses are stunning! I remember every single moment of the planning of my wedding. Such a fun and exciting time.
I didn’t know about the 10% but to me, the wedding gown should not be so expensive as it’s only be going to be worn once in a lifetime. I’ve only seen some daughters wanting to wear the same dress as what their moms have worn.
Wish I had known about this site last year when my daughter got married. She had so much trouble finding a modest wedding dress. She ended up getting one altered to be modest. I wonder why is it that almost all the wedding dresses are strapless, and if they are not strapless, they show way way too much cleavage?
It’s important to plan your dress for these special occasions. You would want to look perfect on this rare celebrations.
I fondly remember planning my wedding, buying all of the magazines and tearing out the stuff that interested me. I wish we had had Pinterest then!
Great tips and the dresses are so gorgeous 🙂
Planning a wedding has got to be the most nerve wracking, and yet the most exciting thing ever. These are great tips and even better pieces.
I have never been married so did not have to plan a wedding etc. Actually I doubt I would have had any say in the matter. My Mom still hasn’t forgiven me because SHE couldn’t throw a party–does that tell you something?
I remember planning my wedding over 7 years ago. I was able to have the wedding of my dreams including finding a dress that I liked. I choose one with a splash of color and loved it. I wish that I would have bought it online though because I could have gotten it cheaper. I was just too afraid that it wouldn’t fit.
I got married in Vegas, so there was no dress for me. I would have had my MIL make me a dress if I went a different route with my wedding, though.
Such pretty dresses! Back when I got married, I got a great bargain compared to today’s prices!
We got pretty lucky with all of this. when we got married my mother in law made all the dresses including my wife’s wedding dress. That make it even more special!
