All items for this Valentine’s Day Floral Bouquet Craft could be purchased at a Dollar store or even uncovered in your boxes with arts and crafts.
All you need is this ensemble of things:
ā¢ Small vase with a narrow neck
ā¢ A Styrofoam ball
ā¢ A bouquet of artificial flowers –> you would need just the top part, the flower itself, from each stem
ā¢ Glue
ā¢ Decorative ribbon for a final touch bow
Step 1 –> Get your materials ready!
Step 2 –> Clip off the top of the flowers and start attaching them
rather closely to the styrofoam ball
Step 3 –> Use A Vase During Crafting
For convenience, use your vase or any other prop-up device, like a cup, to hold your quickly-growing floral ball!
Step 4 –> You are almost done to Celebrate your beautiful achievement!
You may want to adjust and open some flowers for a fuller-looking effect.
Voila, you could decorate your vase with a ribbon or a ready-to-g0 bow if you have it on hand. Your Valentine would enjoy it!
Kids would love making and giving this festive bouquet to their teacher. Allow your kids to be creative with colors when they pick the materials for their project. Most of all, enjoy the time spent creating something meaningful in togetherness.

Oh my gosh, that looks incredible! It is very easy to make
I was just curious as to how many bunches of roses you used? I want to pick some up @$$Tree, don’t want to short myself though. Can’t wait to try!
Susan,
There are about 40-45 rose buds on the small size styrofoam ball.
The number of flowers differ on the sold flower bunches.
But you could incorporate other flowers into this floral ball bouquet, too! Be flexible and creative. Nothing is wrong when things look beautiful.
Enjoy your own crafting!
This looks like a lot of fun to make and can be made with different flowers.
Super cute and simple! My daughter and I are going to make this for her preschool teacher! Thanks for sharing?
Kami,

Such a great way to choose the flowers and make something her teacher would cherish for a long time.

Maybe I’ll surprise the wife and do this instead of flowers. The look on her face would be worth the burned fingers.

I love it. I should make one to put on the kitchen table. I need a new centerpiece.
Uprunforlife,
That could work, too!
The floral stems and the ball were purchased at the Dollar store. If you would like to splurge, get to Michael’s, as they do have so gorgeous flowers to use for your crafting!
Oh my gosh that looks incredible! I think I might be able to actually do this craft and I am horrible at them.
Emma,
Yes, you can!
I’d recommend to go and get a small styrofoam ball and flowers from your dollar store first. Practice on a small scale. Once you get confidence ā go full speed!
What is the size of the styrofoam ball? I’m trying to estimate how many rose heads for what size ball. Thank you!!!
San ha,
The diameter of the ball was approximately 3.5 inches.
What an easy and fun idea. Now I know the secret to those round balls of flowers. š
Debra,
Here goes the secret!
So glad you now know the answer!
So pretty and inexpensive. I can’t believe this is so easy to make.
It is very easy to make, just get the flowers and get to work, Dogvills!
Make your first floral ball this Valentine’s Day!
That is the cutest thing! I love the look of this. AND these flowers never die. I really want to try this.
Stacie,
Do attempt it!
As with anything new, try it on a very small ball and a few flowers. You will see how easy it is, then go get something on a bigger scale!
I’ve got a few new flowers waiting for me to try a completely different look. Will be doing it soon.
What size rose bush did you use? Was it regular size roses or small rose buds?
Belinda,
Got the flowers from a dollar store. Whatever the size was available there, I got a bunch.
The flowers were not too small. They’re on the bigger side.
What size ball do u use.
Kim,
Use 4-5-inch balls in diameter.
Make sure when you get the ball that the stems of the flowers will go through.
I usually buy flowers first, then check to see if the stem will go through the white surface.
But even if the surface of the ball is very rigid, don’t fret! Just poke with a metal thin object. I tried it, it worked.
How does the foam ball stay attached to vase?
I used hot glue, just made two and they are so pretty. Bought all my items at the dollar store, used a glass candle holder because I did not want them to be too tall.
April,
Hot glue or even good Elmer’s glue works.
Depending on the surface of the materials, you can attach the floral ball to the vase with either of the glues.
