This movie belongs in the ranks of the extraordinary, as it explores the eternal questions like changing our destiny, living through eternities, and traveling in time and through space. All seems extraordinary, almost unbelievable. Yet Tomorrowland presents an opportunity for each and every one of us to explore these questions together. And march together into the future with an open mind and empowered ability to create.

Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof, the creators of Tomorrowland, were searching for an interesting and exciting twist in the movie to make it an example for optimism and responsibility for our own destiny. Both producers were fascinated by Walt Disney’s Tomorrowland section in Disneyland in 1955. It represented the optimism with which people viewed their future, thus possibilities in their creativity.

Brad Bird reflects:

Any time that there is an empty canvas, there are two ways to look at it; one is emptiness and the other one is wide open to possibility. And that’s how I like to look at the future—wide open to possibility. It is a view that has fallen out of favor in terms of looking at the future.

You will be taken onto an exciting ride filled with special effects and things from the future.

Tomorrowland is a movie that is a must-see for anybody who cares about their future. It is a movie that inspires and and fills our lives with the positiveness of the World around us and beyond. Brad Bird in his interview reflected on the importance of staying positive, as our society at large depends on it.

Brad Bird:

Tomorrowland. That word is so evocative of all the themes that we’ve been talking about here,” concludes executive producer Jeff Jensen. “It’s evocative of the future. It’s evocative of the notion of progress. It is evocative of the idea of a culture working together collaboratively – not necessarily without disagreement, but creatively to build the future that we want. We’re putting that word out there and asking people to respond to it.
