Who is ready for the best Tilapia recipe with Manuka honey? I love experimenting with flavors. It is not what you make that counts – it’s what sauce or dip or glaze that you create to go along with all of the ingredients in the recipe that makes a huge difference in taste.
Experimenting with Manuka in my recipes allowed me to create some scrumptious dinners and desserts. Here’s what I’ve done to create my own best Tilapia Recipe with Manuka Honey and Broccolette. The most significant part of this delicious meal is a tilapia marinade that is made with dried apricots and drizzles of honey.

Manuka honey comes from New Zealand and its native manuka bush. The valuable compound in the honey – Leptosperin – is an indicator of the genuine origin of the honey. Manuka honey is a potent food to be added to our regular regiment of different recipes and as a soother for colds and sore throats.

Using Manuka Honey with UMF 5+
As A Drizzle Over Tilapia Fillets
You probably have noticed that number on the label for the Manuka honey. The number stands for the Unique Manuka Factor. This number is an indicator of unique properties found in the New Zealand Manuka honey strains. The higher the number, the more superior grade level the Manuka honey is. The superior level is assigned to 16+ grade of the Manuka honey strains.

I Used Flaky Sea Salt for My Tilapia Seasoning
If you are looking to creating your bests tilapia recipe, be bold to play with different salt flavors and sauces. Whether it’s oven baked or grilled, your tilapia recipes will be memorable for your family and guests. I get requests from my friends all the time when we have our BBQ outdoor parties to create a new tilapia recipe. They know that I will do something different, and I love surprising them with my food grilling ideas.

Use Dried Apricots, Coconut Flakes
& Manuka Honey for Flavoring
Mix dried apricots with Manuka honey in your food processor. Use this mixture on top of tilapia filets. Sprinkle, if you’re a fan of coconut, with coconut flakes.

Grill Tilapia Fish Until A Nice Crust Forms
I love tilapia and do experiment with different flavors, sauces and salts when cooking it in my kitchen. The fish is so versatile, it can take in any flavor! When I get requests from my family members, I can grill half of the pan in one flavor, and spice up the other half with a different herb mix or sauce. Everybody loves a feast of flavors they get on their dinner plate!

Grill Broccolette in Olive or Coconut Oil,
Drizzle With Some Manuka Honey
Don’t be afraid of a sweet taste – it won’t be that sweet at all! Manuka will add some yummy carmelization, unless you add it during plating.

I Love My Tilapia Served Hot!
When tilapia and veggies are off the hot pan, they taste the best. If I ever have any leftovers, I use them with a fresh green salad the next day.
