As long as I remember, my life was connected to plants: from planting the seeds for carrots and radishes into the ground in the summer time and cultivating my own little garden inside the house by growing herbs all-year-round.
Planting and growing has been my one of the favorite past times since childhood. I watched my mom and grandparents laboring on their plantations, bigger in size and richer in a variety of plants, trees and flower. Helping them in all activities from planting and weeding and gathering the fruits of our labor helped me develop my love and attraction to growing and nurturing things.
Though my childhood years have been left long behind me, my children picked up their passion for all things plants. From watching me and their grandparents, they picked up their love for growing plants on their own.
We live in different environments and have different access to the land. Having appropriate tools and means to show our children how things grow and become the beautiful fruit or vegetable or flower remains of essence. Many companies support developing gardening passions in children by developing toys and games that nurture that green-thumb beginning.
Visiting this past Spring one of the biggest shows in the toy industry a TTPM showcase β Toys, Tots, Pets and More, β I’ve seen some of the magical toys that could be a great source and tool for growing a child with her love for growing and cultivating plants and flowers and loving all things Nature. Take a look at some of the most memorable moments from the TTPM show. I will try to profile more examples for you step-by-step.
My Fairy Garden is one of my toys favorites that conquered my heart. It offers an ample opportunity for a child to explore, imagine, continuously play with the fairy house and it little citizens, fairies, all summer long and during the winter, too. Easily assembled, beautifully decorated by fairy furniture, a fairy house like this one is to remain a constant imagination source for a child.
Planting Their Own Garden Is Rewarding for A Child
Yes, it takes time for the seeds to sprout and grow into a blooming garden. Yet the process of getting there teaches and nurtures a child psyche in many ways. It instills in children some of the best human qualities we all see in our connections:
- Patience
- Love
- Caring
- Compassion
- Imagination
- Creativity
My Fairy Garden kits plant the seeds of some of the best human qualities in our children!

What a neat idea. I am actually going to look into getting one of these!
This is so cute! My niece would love this.
This fairy Garden kit is so adorable. I just Love it! The joy a child would feel after planting seeds in it and watching their creations grow! Wow is all I can Say. Thank you for sharing this post with us.
To me this gardening kit is new and innovative and makes gardening fun for kids and adults as well.
I love this idea! It looks like something my great nephew would be interested in.
I do not like gardening at all.. left up to me I would work just to hire a gardener…BUT my husband loves to garden so all these ideas I will pass on to him….The children will enjoy being in the garden with grandpa…
This looks so great! What a good way to teach children about patience and nurturing things. This would be a fun year-round project for us. We’ve always wanted to make a fairy garden and this makes it seem so fun and easy!
Oh…I love this! Nature toys are always really great–it gets your child thinking and is a good opportunity for learning as well!
What an awesome idea! I love this fairy garden toy and it’s such a great summer activity for kids!
It’s nice that there are toys like this these days. I think it’s a great way to encourage them to learn more about gardening! It will keep them occupied as well, which means less time spent playing on their gadgets.
I tried to make a fairy garden myself, but failed miserably. And because I wanted one so bad, I had to buy one. I guess I am not that crafty. I agree that you should teach the kids to learn to love gardening at an early age. It not only fosters creativity and patience but it also teaches them to love and care for our environment.
The fairy garden is one craft that I have always wished I knew how to make. I will gather enough materials to try and make one myself.
This is a great idea! The kids will definitely enjoy playing with plants and make them grow, and let them think, it’s their own kid haha!
I wish my kids were younger so I’d have an excuse to buy that! What an amazing idea to mix the fairy world with gardening to encourage little ones to start caring more about nature and growing plants. Do they come in a life-size model??? π
Andrew,
Nope, they don’t come in life-size! Just the ones you see in our images.
Such a great idea and one to prepare or make the child think about the future. I hope my little one loves the garden when she is a bit older π
My little one loves to garden all the time! Such cute choices!
I loved these toys and tools. Its good if kids are spending much time in garden instead of watching TV and playing on play stations. It’ll also help in their natural growth.
Wow! I need one of these. Itβs wonderful to inculcate in the minds of youngsters the love for gardening.
Aww that looks so cute I love it. I have been painting plant pots with my son today and he has chosen a plant to put in it once it has dried. He looks helping in the garden. Great deals to learn for when they are older
I would have LOVED My Fairy Garden when I was a kid (if I’m being honest, I wouldn’t mind having now!). It’s so awesome to get kids into things like gardening and taking care of the environment at a young age.
Angelic,
I love all things gardening.
Agreed with you β you’ll have FUN with this MY FAIRY GARDEN! So many things to do and nurture with it!
I love that we can grow things in it all year round! Summer or Winter, our fairy garden can bloom!
Love that flower pot! My son love to help plant and water!
That fairy garden is adorable! I love how it inspires kids to get outside and play in the dirt rather than inside all the time.
Oh my goodness how cute is the fairy garden, I would have loved something like that as a child, what a great way to inspire gardening in a young one.
Oh my goodness I am 100% sure who to give this to. My friend has a garden and her little girl is dying to have her own little garden. I am definitely going to give this to her.
I love this so much. We started a small vegetable garden for the first time this summer and my boys have really enjoyed being involved.
