Are you looking for something different for your child’s Holiday Season gift ideas? Have you looked into STEM toys and games? During my last show at TTPM in New York (toys, tots, pets, and more) a large majority of toys were STEM-oriented.
With Colorific Build-a-Bot STEM toys, your child will be exposed to master the following skills:
– Fine Motor Skills
– Imagination
– Introduction to engineering
– Patienc & Persistence development
Motor skills are some of the most important skills a child learns in a coordinated movement of brain, muscles and nervous system. Fine motor skills occur when a child learns to use her or his small muscles like fingers and toes, wrists, lips and tongue. Depending on how well these muscles can work and react to the nervous system’s signals, a child will develop the proficiency of many important movements: eating with a spoon, speaking clearly, holding and picking up small objects with the fingers and many other movements related to this group.
The development of the fine motor skills in a child determines success in many important functions in life. Buttoning clothes, eating, cutting scissors, holding small items, eating, writing, typing on a computer keyboard. As you see, any person needs all of these skills in life. Playing with toys that develop these motor skills contribute to the ease and success of a child in life.
Colorific Build-a-Bot toys allow children to figure out their way around how to build each toy from all available parts. Though there’s a step-by-step diagram of building a bot, there’s a process of familiarizing yourself and recognizing a way of doing it. A child develops confidence that building an entire toy by themselves is possible and brings joy while doing so.
It is our responsibility as parents to provide learning opportunities for children to master their fundamental motor skills so they could succeed at school, in college, in life. Colorific toys could be the toys and games your child could enjoy and learn from. With this holiday season, you may consider to look for STEM toys and games your child could thrive with.

What a fun and educational toy. Perfect for the littles ones in my life. I’ve just added this to my Christmas list!
These toys look like they would be a great addition to our home. My kids would love playing with them and I would love that they are learning in the process.
STEM learning is so great. I try to implement as much as I can into my kid’s education.
I love this for my nephew. It is so nice to see learning toys. I will put this on my list for the Holidays.
I like the idea of more learning and stimulating games and toys like these much better than race cars and barbies!
It’s amazing what kids can create with the right tools! Those lil’ bots are the cutest things ever. I know my kids would love to make their own.
I wish this was around a few years ago! My younger brother is a budding computer scientist and he would have loved this a few years ago!
I love STEM toys and am so happy to see them going mainstream. I bought my boys science toys when they were kids – but the term STEM wasn’t heard of at that time by most people.
I would have LOVED this as a child. We definitely need more STEM people out there in the future!

Dawn,
Totally agree with you, each toy or activity should be fun for a child to be engaged with it and think of new ways of playing with the toy.
These are really cute and a great idea for the holidays! My 4 year old is really into building things, so I am always hunting for new options he can create with.
