A few days ago, I came across a comparison photo gallery where on one side there were “Before” pictures of women’s faces, and on the other side there were the “After” photos of the same women.
Same women, different faces. What made a difference? A change in hairdo and some make-up.
But what truly was staring into my face were the so much happier facial expressions of the women who participated in this photo test.
The test showed that small changes like adding a mere lipstick or changing your hair – color or cut or even which side your bang goes – make a significant psychological effect on how we feel.
The same goes with clothes and accessories in our lives. Adding a different twist to your clothes, interchanging accessories, adding or removing belts and purses to your wardrobe could result in a stronger outlook of the world for you.
It certainly does to me. The other day, I took my Butterfly pink bag to run all my errands. I made my choice of that bag on purpose. I felt I needed more room in my bag for that day (based on the type of errands I was doing and stuff I had to carry along!) And the pink color of the bag really spoke to me.
Then the other thing was I felt like I wanted to dress up but still look casual. Well, my pink Butterfly bag from Maggie Bags was my pick for the day! It just felt right to make it my daily companion.
Look at this amazingly stylish Maggie Butterfly Bag, yet serving the casual function to its bearer!
What I really enjoy about my butterfly pink bag is its interior. Spacial, lined out with a silky dark purple fabric. Every niche of this bag feels plush. Feels high quality.
Little did I know that it is made out of the rejected seat belt webbing! When I look at my Maggie bag, there’s no way anybody would say it’s less than fabulous! The quality of workmanship is the flagship of the Maggie Bags Company.
As it goes for me, once I own things, I develop a relationship with them. Sounds funny. May be. However, there’s a lot of truth to it.
Accessorizing could really spark emotional and creative parts of our brain. Any time we make positive changes in our lives, we make positive connections with creative force out there. We meet our success. We meet new people who make a difference in our lives. And we become so much happier.
Don’t underestimate a wonderful power of change in your wardrobe and accessories! Test it yourself and see how you feel. More confident. More beautiful. Much happier.
