Ingredients
- 4 sweet potatoes, pierce the skin with fork for quicker baking
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Butter to taste
Instructions
- Fire up your oven to 400F.
- Lay down sweet potatoes pierced with fork on a foil-covered baking sheet.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes.
- Cut in half each potato, place in bowl, add salt, pepper, butter and enjoy!

This recipe is definitely a keeper. Easy and great flavor. Like previous reviewers advised I cut in 1/2 inch disks. I cooked for 40 minutes and some were charred so would probably take out at 35 minutes next time. Also, with 4 sweet potatoes I needed 2 9×13 dishes not one.
I love that they’re so simple to make but very filling and tasty as well! I usually make mashed sweet potato or sweet potato fries! I think this would be a nice side or a good dish for lunch! YUM!
