Here’s something to Celebrate!
Scotties Facial Tissues company announced that all summer long they will be holding Cat Adoption events with their sponsorship. This is one more step and way to give an incentive to people to take in their care a kitty that needs and wants love and secure home. To do so, Scotties partnered with Animal Rescue League in Boston, MA, Raleigh, NC, and Tampa, FL, who dedicate their efforts to animal rescue and caring.
With that campaign, Scotties also added a white kitten duet to their boxes of facial tissues to support their campaign and the meaning and brand positioning of Scotties.
Scotties facial tissues are all about softness and gentleness. Any flu or cold are much easier tolerated with a more supple touch like Scotties. Adding a new feline Mascot to the Scotties box is a great idea and customer appeal. Being a cat lover and mom to three Cornish Rexes, I love all things “cats!”

What Scotties products are made from?
Scotties facial tissues are made from new wood pulp fibres from J.D. Irving forests (the company grows its own trees!) The wood pulp fibres come from hardwood and softwood trees.
How many trees the company planted?
J.D. Irving forestry specialists have planted over 850 million trees on owned and Crown land in North America – a National record. The Tree promise is: The company plants three trees for every one used in Scotties products production.
Is Scotties Hypoallergenic?
Yes, the Scotties facial tissues are Hypoallergenic and are made without the use of inks or dyes.

Very cool! I had no idea they planted so many trees. If every single company just did a little bit *more* to reduce their carbon footprints, I would be more inclined to support “big business”.

I love that Scotties are hypoallergenic free, that helps when one is in need of tissues. With our allergies we are always in need!

Great initiative! There’s a town near here that is going to pass a law forbidding the sale of animals. We have so many orphaned animals that there’s no need to sell more when so many need a home!

We are not allowed to have pets at home so I’m so unfamiliar with all these products that are for cats. How often do you have your pet check up with the vet?

It hurts my heart to know how many cats are in need of adoption. They far outnumber dogs. This is a wonderful thing they’re doing.
I did not know that Scotties grew their own trees and replant 3 for every one the take down. This fact warms my environmental heart. I am also so happy they are sponsoring kitty adoptions! I will be shopping on Saturday and will be looking for the kitties on the Scotties box and buying a couple!
