Happy Cat – Happy You – Pleasant Home Aromas
An odor free home that invites us inside with gentle pleasant aromas is always a first sign that people take good care of their living environment. Yet sometimes, when there are multiple pets – especially cats – in the home, it could be a challenge to keep up with good smells and aromas. No matter how elaborate your ways to mask unpleasant smells could be, it is almost impossible to eliminate them completely. The best way is to pin point the source for such disrespectful smells.
First, a litter box could be a primary source for unpleasant fumes in the house. It could be a litter problem. Usually, litter that clumps does a better job of trapping odors and preserving status quo of the air. Try a few and see what works for you.
At PetSmart®, you can choose ARM & HAMMER™ CLUMP & SEAL™ cat litter that could be your savior! But be ware that a quick change of litter for your kitties could create a rebellion – cats may not accept a new way of going to the bathroom. It would be wiser for all to add a little bit of new litter into the existing box. Watch how your furry angels react and accept a new option.
Second, bad smell could be coming from a territorial challenge that cats engage in. Marking carpets, corners, favorite places in the house, including a bathroom area – these are just a few things that can be marked and protected!
Again, a few things like cleaning litter box frequently, using a cover over the litter box, and even changing your cat’s diet could be a game changer in becoming a pleasant-smelling home again.
Here’s what we’ve got with our new ARM & HAMMER™ CLUMP & SEAL™ from PetSmart®. The cats love it! I am so happy they transitioned from one litter to another without a huge rebellion.
Using CLUMP & SEAL™ odor sealing litter has encouraged my cats to respect each other’s bathroom space. Believe it or not, each cat has its own spot inside the litter box. And if it is not respected – wow, it can result in territorial markings.
We’ve been using this new cat litter for a week now, and everybody is a happy camper!

I believe my cats will love this.
Love your kitty and a lucky kitty it is getting great litter! We swear by Arm and Hammer!
It’s good to have a reliable litter for your cat especially since their poop can be smelly at times depending on what they eat. I think this is a great brand and it’s definitely worth checking out if you have a cat.
Great way to keep home odor free! I have two cats and found this post a great help!
This might just be my saving grace. I need something that works on kitty odors. I want to get another cat but haven’t yet because I was afraid the smell would be awful with two cats. I’m going to try this and if it works like I hope it does, then I’m going to get the kitty.
This sounds wonderful! I no longer have a cat because of allergies, but I always made sure to buy odor-free cat litter when I had a cat around.
Ooooo this litter sounds great!! I have two fur babies so I’m all about the clump
Litter. Makes things easier
What a great way to keep home odor free while having cats, I love that there are products like this to help clump up the litter and make life less smelly and easier to clean the kitty litter box.
Thankfully both my cats are fully trained and we have no “accidents” in the house. Otherwise will remember this if we ever get a new kitty 🙂
These are great tips! I don’t have pets anymore but I had two cats and keeping an odor free him was definitely a challenge and a lot of work. The litter smell was almost unavoidable. This sounds like a great product too.
Now this sounds great! Our cats never want to use their own litter boxes. They like going in the same one! The odors can really creep up on us.
I have never had a cat, but I have friends who have a few and they have uses Arm and Hammer in the past and have really glad reviews on it.
We have two cats and live in a small house. This is the only litter we can use that conceals the odors and clumps like it should.
I do not have a cat, but if I did I know that I would need a litter that did not smell. That is probably one of the biggest reasons why we do not have a cat. Maybe something like this will help change your minds and getting the cat one day.
This is my litter of choice! I have one cat, so, I clean her box every other day. You cannot tell that I have a cat! Love them!
We are a pet free home and oddly enough so are most homes we visit. We’re still pondering on the perfect pet for us. My biggest worry is odor, I don’t want to enter my home and know a pet lived there by the smell. Glad to know they have products to prevent that from happening.
I really do love and adore my lazy cat but it would be great if there was no smell of the cat (or at the very least the litter box). It really sounds like this litter would do the trick!
I have not heard of this new for of Arm and Hammer litter!! Sounds like it does a great job for controlling smell!
My sister has a cat (actually my niece) and they love this Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal! You would never even know they had a cat if you went inside their home!
I don’t have a cat, but if I did, I would definitely use Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal. I have a strong sense of smell and having an odor-free home is a must for me.
