There were several times when well-known brands started using more than an everage-by-the-industry size mannequins in their display to attract more sales into their pockets. How that went for them, you could find out easily just by browsing some of the news articles.
Just recently, one of the same type of mannequins appeared in one of the Department stores.
What do you think about using a significantly overweight (more than Plus Size) mannequin for displaying the latest and greatest trends of the season? Let us know.

I agree with Tonya on the opportunity to see what the cloths look like on, but it would make more sense in a Big & Tall store if you want to use over Plus Size. My problem isn’t with the size of the mannequin’s, it’s the over crowding of the racks. It’s hard to shop when you can’t walk in the racks without knocking things around. Using mannequin’s just mean’s less merchandise space.
As a plus-size person, I like the opportunity to see what an item will actually look like on me. I have to agree with Shirley on this particular mannequin, though… it looks severely disproportionate.
I think plus size mannequins may be a good idea but the one pictured looks like it was in a horror film.
