One Small Change this month could accelerate your path to the well-being and filling your life with more joy and more of everything you desire in it. In five words, You Can Live Your Dream.
Need more motivation to do some things in life? Need more support in what you wish you could do?
There are people and great products that could make a huge difference in how you view things, and push you into the direction of your goals towards a change you wish to achieve.
Recently, I’ve discovered a great motivator that I wear on my wrist all the time now. It is a LifeTrak fitness smartwatch.
I am a huge supporter of a Heart Rate Monitor of any kind. During my workouts, I wear a heart rate monitor at all times! It allows me to monitor, you guessed it right, my heart rate.
LifeTrak has an instant access to the heart rate, showing the beats per minute and the percentage of exertion you are working out at. This is what we need to know to build an aerobic capacity, moving faster and smarter to our fitness goal.
Why your heart rate is important to know while you workout? Here are Three Most Important Points for it.
1. Safety. You don’t know what your heart is doing unless you monitor it. Pulse and neck measurements are inaccurate. And your body doesn’t give the best signals of what is really happening inside your chest.
2. You need it to stay in the “zone “ to build heart muscle and aerobic capacity. Most people over-exert, injuring the heart, not assisting it. Only an accurate moment-to-moment monitor can tell you what you need to know.
3. You need to stay in the “fat-burning zone”, while exercising. And only a monitor, properly used, can tell you when you are out of the zone and may be burning your heart muscle, instead of exercising it! Or when you are out of the zone under-exercising, doing basically nothing to give any significant health benefits to yourself.
With LifeTrak, you have many motivational points for yourself to get you moving. Being worn on the wrist, your screen displays how many Steps and Miles you walked so far; how many calories you’ve burned up to this point of time. You can set your goals for how many steps or miles you walk daily.
Where’s motivation for you? Right here, on the screen. Seeing your activity in numbers, like steps and miles walked, you get motivated to get up and get walking! At least, that’s what LifeTrak does to my motivation. I think it is more of a reminder to me that I gotta get my heart rate going and do those steps towards reaching my goal today.
Again, this is small changes that eventually make a big difference in our well-being and joyful living. Making a small change every now and then would propel you towards your dream and living more abundantly.

I would love to have an exercise partner, but one that would show up and be consistent and supportive.
I need someone to go to the gym with me or go walking if I’m on my own I am less likely to follow through.
If I needed support I would get it from my boyfriend and my daughters.
I wish I had someone who would be dedicated to working out and walking with me because I can’t lie I won’t do it alone.
my children keep me motivated so much
I would love to have some more encouragement and maybe someone to work out with. I think that would be great!!
If I had ANY support needed, it would probably be any coach from The Biggest Loser. Staying motivated is SO hard and I know with someone on my case, I would have no choice but to be more active!
Healthier recipes and someone to workout with on a regular basis.
This is awesome!! I would love something like this! Because being able to actually SEE the progress and such, it would only motivate me to do better!! Love it!
More time to myself. I feel like I spend all my time doing everything for everyone else. Just wsh I had more time.
If I had the support you needed, it would be when to get me up and moving and go for walks with me and it would make my life more active.
Just having someone to watch my kids so I could get to the gym and have some “me” time a few times each week
I think having a personal trainer or even having a competition;)
For me it is about making time 🙁 tough to do working full time, havin 5 kids and a husband
To hear something positive from someone else it helps
I have a great support system. My dogs love to go for walks and they are with me at home during the day.
I wish I had a team of people to push me to the fullest! A team of people to make me work harder to reach my goals!!
I need someone to encourage me
It would be easier if i had people to be active with! Everyone I know is lazy. 🙂
I have arthritis bad it hurts a lot but I play basketball and foootbballl with my grandsons
I would have to agree with a lot of people that I would need someone that would hold me accountable for keeping up with everything.
LONG TERM Physical Therappy. The HMO’s are not willing to invest time in you getting as fit and active as you can. It took a long time to get into the state I are now in. It will take a long time to achieve my fitness goals..not just 5 or 6 weeks! i would also love a personal trainer who is not 19 years old working in a center..lol A trainer like they use in Hollywood!!
If I had someone to care for my disabled husband so that I could dedicate more than 10 or 15 minutes at a time to getting fit, it would really really help. I use a pedometer to make sure I get in enough steps daily, but a heart rate monitor would be even better.
I am working on a minimum of 100 miles per month, but this month, I’m adding more miles and plan to increase it every couple of months.
Raye,
This is Phenomenal! With such dedication Anything is Possible!
With love,
Laura
If I could have ANY support I needed to stay active, it would be a trained professional (who I wouldn’t have to pay alot of $$$ for) who could not only give me physical training, but also coach me on health, wellness and how to live better. If all else fails, maybe a LifeTrak device would do…ha!
Having my boyfriend motivated to do it too
I get support from my family and friends. Working out or walking with a partner is always good.
A workout buddy
having a gym buddy would be awesome!
A walking buddy to walk with.
i think if i had a personal trainer and/or a personal chef who would make me delicious healthy meals those would be a great support.
This is a hard one because I don’t think anyone is going to motivate me to exercise! I am on my feet all day at work and the last thing I want to do is do something where I am going to be on them even more (well aside from cooking dinner).
Mine would be my mother , my boyfriend and a close friend
I am my own motivator but I love when my honey is cheering me.
If I could have ANY support I needed I would choose the 3 wonderful friends that I walk with 3 times a week. They not only keep me active but I would be lost without their emotional support as well! It’s amazing how fast that hour goes when I’m walking and talking with my friends.
I have a wonderful family we all stick together and support each other no matter what the challenge may be 🙂
Someone to workout with! or i wont stick with it.
I need to believe in myself!!
i need to be in less physical pain and to have a personal fitness trainer
My husband and friends.. 🙂
a workout buddy
I have had severe Rheumatoid Arhthritis since I was 4 years old, I’m now 36, and I would love to have a trainer or someone who knows what kinds of exercises I could tolerate & what would be too much for me.
Walking is the best or swimming
Getting my heart valved replaced… Im to scared to do it 🙁
Someone to encourage me
I WISH I HAD A WORKOUT BUDDY OR MONEY TO GO TO A GYM OR HIRE A TRAINER.
I think the biggest problem is time and motivation.
more time in my day 🙂
i need someone to be there to cheer me on and eat healthier and exercise with me so i dont feel so alone…i hate doing things alone…having someone to do it all with me would motivate me to stay healthier:)
More Motivation and the inspiration to keep moving! And a good exercise machine wouldn’t hurt!
I need a workout partner. It would be easier if I knew someone else was doing it with me.
More time playing sports than working…Kids love playing soccer and baseball. I wish I did not have to work so much!
It would be a bike modified to accommodate the arthritis damage limitations of my joints.
If you had ANY support you needed, what would it be when it comes to making your life more active ….I have to say if I was not disabled I would definitely do so much more …Like join the brand new fitness place that just recently opened in my town!!
I need a workout buddy
I wish I had more TIME. My sons are so busy with THEIR schedules that its tough with 2 jobs and their schedules to actually have the time to get to the gym. I am working on it though!
Me not having MS.
